The scorching ruins of RationalWiki as of 2103 hours.
For the last week, Kiwi operatives, assisted by several allies both on-site and off, managed to
trigger a number of RationalWiki's self-appointed Dictators-for-Life in Team Ryulong. Long since used to dealing with simple and quick edits, and not a sustained assault by veterans of both Wiki Edit Warring and Internet War in general, the officials of Team Ryulong quickly wound up in a situation where they didn't just lose ground, but lost it so completely and so heavily that it resulted in them being bitch-slapped multiple times for violations by their own side, and forced them to ultimately employ the self-destructive ultimate sanction - locking the page down in entirety - to save themselves from getting further ass-kickings.
It wouldn't save them. For now, this is cause for celebrations and recognition of achievements. The Farms has had a
glorious success in this offensive. With this in mind, I'd like to give a special shout-out to:
KIWI OPERATIVES:
1. @Dynastia - Dyne fucking was kredit to Farms on this shit. Learning to Wiki practically on the fly and adopting the tactics I recommended earlier for fighting Ryulong and friends practically immediately, Dyne went the full nine yards and managed to completely BTFO his opponents in Team Ryulong, and in the process,
triggered an entire website. If I had the ability to give Achievement ratings, Dyne would have fucking earned it for the sheer balls-out hilarity he gave us. I'm dead serious.
2. @Cynical,
@Adamska, and
@Hellfire - Our war correspondents, These three can be counted on to bring you the latest battle reports, often with some interesting commentary. Props to them for also keeping us abreast of the latest failures of Team Ryulong and friends. Cynical's are great for up-to-the-second info, Hellfire for bringing us the news that Senpai Noticed Us, and Adamska for his fantastic commentary.
NEUTRAL PARTIES:
3. GethN7 - Wherever there's Anti-GG-related sperging, it's a give-in we'll find Geth soon behind. I'm convinced he does it
knowing full well it'll draw our attentions; whatever his reason, Geth was invaluable, causing firestorms second only to Dyne's, and periodically even bigger than his. There's something magic about a non-Kiwi that can cause this much salt, but most agree that Geth is secretly one of us, if only in spirit.
4. Random, Spelling-Impaired User that Never Signed Posts - I may never know this random Aspie's name, and know nothing about him other than that English wasn't his native language. However, he successfully managed to provoke Kitsunefag into a towering rage just by defending my talking points and that was
fucking hilarious. Godpeed, random user. Wherever you go, my fortune follow.
RATIONALWIKI CONSPIRATORS:
5. Seriously - One of a few users to oppose Ryulong openly, Seriously threw his lot in with the Farms when he realized, as most of the internet did, that RW would be a better site without team Ryulong. Props to the guy for essentially feeding Ryulong to us like a holiday turkey.
6. Carpetsmoker - Single-handedly provoked Ryulong and his supporters into a storm of outright Spergation by simply recommending that if RW wanted to be rid of all GG-related bullshit overnight, delete the article, salt it, and ban anyone who tries to bring it back. Props to the guy for standing against a shithead like Ryulong.
7. HuskyHarlot - With a name that reminds me of
@Super Collie, Husky Harlot became a quick study in calling Ryulong out on his shit.
These are but a few of the mighty champions in this glorious victory for Lolcow Chronicleering. Rest assured - this battle is not over. Even now, Kiwi operatives monitor activity. The second the protection lapses - either because the time runs out, or because some saner moderator reverts it - the offensives will resume and the salt will flow anew. The Farms will feed rich that day, and those who are trying to push RW in a better direction (god bless you crazy fucks for trying) will have that much better a shot. The goal, as ever, will be the infuriation of Lyurong and the systemic undermining of the powerbase of his associates. The Farms will not be stopped.
