i still think the person behind the model plays a more important role than the model itself. for example, look at Anya


her subs and views are consistent enough but compered to her gen mates and newer members, its just sad. the person behind her model is just so dry and boring you could get more entertainment watching plants grow.

Before her personality was shown before her voice was heard I'm pretty sure she already had 100k+ subscribers. It's not unreasonable to think that had Cover gone with the girl who finished just outside of the top 5 that she would have more or less the same amount of success Kronii does. I really don't think Kronii is talking about putting some random person in her spot but someone that has near the same level of qualifications is all. Not everyone that Cover rejects are talentless and boring remember they rejected Nene 4 times.
All you need is exposure and I think Kronii is very much aware of that.

That's not the point, it's obvious Cover can have plenty of people who walk into an avatar and become successful because they choose great talents. But it's also true that they arent interchangeable workers. Someone else could have been successful as Kronii but saying "You would have liked her just as much" isn't true. Whether she had more or less fans than this Kronii she certainly wouldn't have had the same fans.

I don't understand moonspeak but that looks more like Haato 😍 than Haachama despite everyone calling her Haachama.

I guess that's unpopular opinion nowdays but I prefer silly and cheerfull idol Haato, Haachama's edgy shit is just... pointless? 🙄

This was about Zeta I believe and yeah she did list KR as a language she knows, though I think only beginner iirc. I went back and looked at that stream and she made $4.3k which doesn't seem like as much as I thought given how the akasupas were flying at her, but still seems pretty good for an ID stream.

Doesn't seem to take a whole lot to get the KR bros to start throwing money at you apparently. All Bae did was a couple duolingo streams in KR and she got quite a lot of them following her. Also Mumei recently did a KR duolingo stream and got a ton of KR donations, and also found out her "don don" means "money money" in korean which she freaked out a bit about in her own cute way.

Yeah, I was asking about Zeta. $4.3k is maybe less than you thought from watching akasupas live, but it is wild for 1. HoloID and 2. a donation reading that was not a special occasion (she made $2.8k in SCs on her actual monetisation celebration). For comparison, Ollie got $4.8k in SCs on her 1 mil unsubathon. And Bae and Mumei didn't do much but Zeta has done even less that I know of. Not a knock against her, I've only caught her live thrice. Maybe she talked about K-drama or Kpop and I missed it lol.

IIRC IRyS had a reduced ban because she had no genmates. About Council, did they get a reduced ban for Minecraft? The Gura/Mumei Minecraft at the time seemed more like "we both wanted to stream Minecraft at the same time, what a coinkydink".

I remember something about Gura and Mumei being allowed because they didn't use voice chat I think? Correct me if I'm wrong.

No Gura recorded message for Okayu's stream, call me disappointed but I guess I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up, to begin with. At least we got plenty of Okayu cooming to celebrity messages.

Edit: I Also think Kronii's schedule hasn't been posted yet. We're getting an Emoji movie watchalong :cryblood: Which apparently isn't Member's Only either?

I'm pretty sure they have more than enough applications. The more reasonable rrat would be that they don't have enough DECENT applications. Nijisanji's Audition just ended last week too, so most probably they're scraping what's left of the people that Nijisanji didn't pick up.

That, or they just wanted to remind people. It's been a month after the announcement after all.
