Very optimistic take. Even if Ukraine “wins”, it won’t be without a few thousand more dead. Same could be said for Russia, but that’s just war. I doubt Russia is going to want to stop unless they get some concessions too.

Governor of Kharkiv has declared that Ukraine stronk, will not conduct organized evacuation of civilians. Homie heard about the $100m in expired munitions the US just shipped, and about the 63 pieces of 60 year old hardware from Czechia and knows that Ukrainian victory is guaranteed, they'll be in Moscow next Tuesday. He's definitely not thinking of what awesome atrocities they can fake with 1 million+ civilian hostages.

Seeing how the Ukie defenders have commandeered almost every vehicle in the city and won't be using them to evacuate anyone...

Yeah, those civilians are trapped. Unless they want to travel on foot through war-damaged terrain, poor weather, and potential attack from either side...while carrying food and other necessities. And I'm sure families with children and elderly are up for that.

Assuming Azov units don't decide they're "Traitors" for trying to flee or that they'redisguised Russians and execute them.

This is just self-serving, calculated evil. They're going to be using the civvies as human shields to try and prevent the Russians from shelling/bomboardment, while using every civvie that dies as a propaganda corpse.

They copied the entire Palestinian terrorist playbook, it seems. Right down to getting the West on their side. It's gonna be Ukies launching rockets from schools/hospitals and crying foul when the Russians return fire.

So yeah, Russia is shitty for starting this nonsense and unleashing Chechen Jihadis on the populace. But Ukraines leadership are using terrorist human-shield tactics and their best military units are literally genocidal nazis.

It's definitely asshole-slav Thunderdome and neither side should be cheered for how they're handling this war.
