I apologize for the double post but I finally have to throw my two cents in regarding this whole trolling debate that has taken over, and divided, this forum for the last few days. I’m not sure where some of you are getting this whole “Chibi is funnier when nobody fucks with him” thing from, and I have to think it’s some kind of Mendella effect. Big Al confirmed that people were fucking with Chibi for the dog collar and the cosplay thing as far back as community college, which is long before the GDQ incident and therefore LONG before the OOP on this thread. Unless you want to reveal you’ve secretly known Chibi on a more personal level since before then, the only Chibinekodemyx any of us have ever known is one who gets fucked with/trolled/tipped on a semi-regular basis. Telling Chibi to be quiet or you like the jump for the millionth time isn’t funny. What’s funny to some, or at least a key part of what clearly helps form the cow we all know and love to others, is that it’s happened 999,999 times before, and will continue to. He’s acutely aware every moment of his life that all he’ll ever be is a joke, and a low effort one at that. You are out of your mind if you think that has no impact on the things he does, because he says those exact words when he has his biannual Twitlonger mega meltdowns, which are always top tier Chibi milk.
I think @AkashikRetard summed it up best: It’s funny when it’s funny, it’s not when it’s not. Either way, it’s a part of Chibi’s arc. Always has been, always will be. One thing I think we can all agree on is that “rope to hang yourself Chibi lolol” falls under the “not” category.
