General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

If I were management my reaction would be "holy shit the stinky rabbit girl is pulling insane donations and viewcounts for her subscriber base, she sure knows how to attract a dedicated audience."
I think the "issue", if there even is one, that I can see is that she's attracting a certain audience that has a tendency to be, for want of a better word, problematic. Not only would speds be a problem but it might force the direction of Phase Connect away from where Fishman wants to take it. The first argument against resisting change is "Give the people what they want! Are you a fool? Follow the money!". The counter I'd see is that you run into a possible tail wagging the dog and how do the other girls react to the change in atmosphere and audience? It wouldn't be fair to them to change their persona.

I wanna stress for a certain schizo lurker that none of this is Pippa's fault. She had an opportunity drop unbeknownst in her lap and she took advantage of it. Who would've EVER thought that her one stream talking about the rage pig would've set such a fire? I don't believe for a second that it was just because of the news from Portugal. If that was the case she would've had that spike and then everyone would've wandered off. People stayed because she is fun which I think more than more than lewdness, comedy, or flavor of the week game FUN is what we want from these anime women. Well save for those weirdos who want a loli to ASMR fart into a cake.

Rrat time: I think part of her problem is her suddenly overshadowing her EN gen mates. Lia is a wonderful bimbo. Uruka is very talented and innocent. Tenam is a fun, foul mouthed fox. Pippa is a crazy kid. Out of all of them I never thought Pippa would be their top because I thought she'd be too niche to gain a lot of traction. My money was actually on Lia. Pippa now gets just around 400 viewers, even on something like her last stream and her superchats are not too shabby. That's a lot to throw on a girl, or anyone tbf, who's struggled for years spinning their wheels. Couple that with her being a woman, in other words insane, and you got quite the cocktail of cope and menhera sneed. The only thing I think we can do for her is to let her vent and cry when she needs to and validate her when she's got it out of her system like any other woman. That's pure simping boys but I knew that when I clicked the subscribe button.
I don't like to get sappy too often on here 'cause it makes us look like a bunch of faggots, but I'm really proud of her
It's been fun watching all of Phase Connect grow. Watching the little bunny succeed after all the shit she's been through makes me happy too.

Do woman just shit on another like this when one moves up in the world?
I love ya man, no homo, but tell me you've joking.
Put two or more women together and the drama manifests.
Men just beat the shit out of each other and go out for beers after.
Women seethe at the perception that one is better than the other, and god forbid when that's actually true.

Found this 2-months-old reaction video recently.
I like it a lot. Reaction & analysis by someone who know what she talks about.
Shame she had to cut out the Ayame part. But, I guess this type of video is explicitly what she doesn't want clips or videos of hers used for (comparing members). I doubt anyone has a non-edited version of the video?

I kind of want to start paying attention to niji now. Between this, the leaks, and the nipple thing, they may have some entertaining drama brewing beneath the surface.
I mean I'd always advise watching V-Tubers because you're interested in them on an entertainment level. Watching in the hopes you'll be at ground zero for something to happen feels like it'll become unfulfilling quite quickly. Especially when you're part of a forum that is intended to document these things regardless.

The nipple thing is still so wild to me though because no one directly involved actually seems to care. Lauren is having to kneel to the Japanese moral grandstanding above all else.

I don't think it's motivated by the decision to graduate. CyberLive gives 100% ownership to the talents, so if these girls felt like the company was holding them back then they'd simply leave. They also don't appear to hold any malice towards Hylo who did the same thing. On top of that, if it was motivated by jealousy of growth then Oumiya Emma and Kurohana Inori (by far the two biggest CL channels) would not be involved in this screenshot peddling the same sentiment.

Whatever they're bitching about, it's something personal to them.

Context is Ibrahim and Ex Albio had a Valorant collab stream with a couple of 3DPD streamers. Niji management decided to upload a highlight compilation of said collab and posted it on Ibrahim's channel, highlighting that the compilation video was editted with Ibrahim's "style". Ibrahim and his fans thought the video editting sucked and Ibrahim made a stream openly shitting on the video.

Interesting that they'd take over and put it on his channel when they do highlights on the main page at least somewhat often. I can see why Ibrahim is unhappy that someone has declared their work to be his and given him the credit for sub-par content. That's no good.
I would like to note that part of the "controversy" is also the fact that the uploaded video was not even Ibrahims POV but Ex-Albios, with Ibrahim's Live2D overlaid on top of Albios POV:

As you can see not only is the position the, Albio's name is highlighted in the round end ranking screen, indicating that it is indeed his POV. While somewhat hilarious (Insert Niji tech in shambles here) sure sucks for Ibrahim, and i hope whatever clown approved this hack-job gets a stern talking to.

what is up with pomu? she's been at it for almost 2 years now and she still cant handle banter and criticism well. you would think having a normal job would have made her grow thicker skin or maybe she just needs someone to give her the D badly.
She's been having a rough few weeks frankly as every other day, this is some minor non-drama that eats up half of /vt/ for whatever reason and she's somehow been at the forefront for most of it. If she is not the target, it's Mysta, Nina or Yugo. Even during her recent breaks, she was still technically working in some capacity.

Did Mint really not audition for HoloEN 2 or did Niji really just poach her that fast? I remember her saying she's a big fan of the Hololive girls in her PL streams so it was really surprising she ended up in NijiEN instead.
I think she wanted to join Holo but wasn't chosen or it's too late to submit an application. Or she wanted to join Holo but feels her resume wasn't big enough to join so joins Nijisanji first to expand it.

More and more I see people ignoring the context @Scuttle provides in favour of devouring rrats for the sake of believing there is drama. What happened to critical thinking?
Remember when Kronii and Fauna had that hilarious stream in minecraft that was the perfect starting point for a feud/MCwar? They had to roll everything back because concernfags and idiots with no critical thinking started taking the Very Serious Banter as something bigger than it was.

She auditioned for Myth and was rejected. I'm pretty sure this was before Mint even existed though. Nothing mentioned about EN2.

This implies her endgame is to jump ship, which is pretty disrespectful and there's no reason to believe it.

If pomu did not private her stream, we should see the clearer picture instead of letting late rrats being rrats. It would be hard to have critical thinking when there is only one side of stream.

What didn't get mentioned here (because nobody talking about it watched the streams, which should also surprise absolutely no one)
I still remember when someone just dropped that Kiara reacted to a certain way to something while streaming, so people starting Kiaraposting, only for the VOD to drop later, and for a timestamp from that VOD to make everyone mad that they Kiaraposted for nothing. Good times.

Honestly, she's pretty unstable but people just chalk it up to her being a wagie (at the time) and "the stress of moving" etc. I'm still under the belief she's trying hard not to say what she really feels to an extent and it ends up exploding when she gets triggered, i.e the Nina situation it was clearly a joke but you can tell she was legitimately upset at the same time because if women do one thing well, it's being unable to hide actual irritation.

I watched the stream. Not much happened. It was basically 45 minutes of Pomu doing a LARP on how she's alone in the server, has no friends, and will live a life of solitude. Pomu does this thing where she likes to glom onto Elira, especially in Minecraft. I think there were too many people on the server, so Pomu got a little passive-aggressive. Not that big of a deal.

Building off your points, I'd even go one step further. When guys fight, it's usually a retarded 'punch the other dude as fast as possible' flurry that's over quickly. It's mostly for protecting their own image.

When women fight, it's for blood. It's pure savagery. They aim to disfigure their opponent, rip out hair, gouge out eyes, scratch off facial features, run them over, etc.. It's mostly for annihilating the other woman's image.

Also, I can say that no matter what they tell you, the condition of women's bathrooms are by far worse than men's bathrooms. Anyone who ever worked retail can vouch for this.

I have no idea how trannies fight. I bet they avoid it so body parts don't spontaneously crumble and fall off.
