Jim has a decent amount of questionable content hidden in the old podtoid podcast, and if you can bare the go through them, he's said some stuff that wouldn't take too much mental gymnastics (or jimnastics in this case) to imply some unfavourable things over.

Jim is a man who fell out with one set of beliefs, allied with another group, must now tow the party line to keep his remaining connections, and has now internalized a lot of that crap.

He's not the man he was in the past, he wasn't ever respectable, but I still maintain he once had some passion for what he's built his career on. His stale content is a function of a lack of passion, and with a lack of passion there's become stagnancy in everything he produces and a desire to fill the void that a creative outlet he has no passion for doesn't. He's filled that with the internalization of everything he surrounds himself politically, and like many has annihilated the self to better fit within the "community" of leftism. If we go before he committed ego suicide we can likely find a lot of skeletons. He used to avoid politics, but there's no way a particularly bad opinion was never stated online.

Jim is like an evolved form of nostalgia reviewers. People not passionate of the art form they review, but passionate of the instances of that art from their youth. I stand by he already has, but in terms of Twitter, he needs to be someone they want to get rid of. It's rare for people to get "canceled" because they magically found out. It's often people they don't want period, or just to get the rush of having the "power" to "end" someone.
