The fact russia decided to retain a structure of mass "conscript/cheap spammed equipment and vehicles" warfare that could only work when used in conjunction with the west directly assisting them and handling their logistics is the reason why it is currently managing to be pushed back to the border by its proverbial front lawn.

500ish US built locomotives and several thousand cars of rolling stock built to the Russian wide gauge

Hundreds of American engineers and industrial experts that contributed mightily to the dismantling of Russian factories west of the Urals and their rebuilding east of the Urals, and instruction in superior forms of management

Several thousand US built planes and tanks

Several million rifles and machine guns

Over 100 million rounds of rifle and machine gun ammunition

A few thousand artillery pieces

Millions of artillery and mortar shells

Almost 100% of the aviation gasoline used by Russia during the war was pumped out of American soil, refined in America, and shipped to Russia

Millions of field radio sets

The trucks and train stuff and radios were what gave Russia the ability to move men and equipment and coordinate attacks better than the Nazis from 1943-1945. They allowed Russia to fight with much more tactical flexibility and responsiveness than it had in 1941 and 1942

Without the US, Russia would have still been able to keep the Nazis from conquering it, but it never would have been able to bake such a nasty cake for Germany at Kursk, or muster such crushing offensives of its own after Kursk in 1943 and 1944. No hammer and sickle being raised over the Reichstag, no Red Army occupying eastern Europe, no unconditional Nazi surrender

Where did you get that idea? As repayment for lend lease the US requested 1.07 billion dollars from the UK and 1.3 billion from the USSR. According to statistics I can find the US shipped 34 million tons of goods throughout the war. Of that the Soviet Union alone received 17 million tons.

Also the fact that the western allied navies were aggressively blockading germany and thus preventing them from accessing vital foreign resources, especially oil which was the single most essential factor in waging a modern war even back then. Which is why germany relied on horses for logistics and had to stop barbarossa every five minutes to scrounge up more gasoline once its initial push ran out of literal fuel.

It really cannot be overstated how crucial the whole "preventing germany from actually being able to conduct a war" thing was in...ya know....defeating germany.

Part of that was because the axis was fucking retarded when it came to unified planning. It was Germany steering the boat without regards to any input from the others, and the others doing their own retarded thing. No efforts at common equipment between the various counties, no real unified command, and surprisingly little sharing of technology between the counties.
