the reason the "r slur" isn't taken seriously is because retards are too retarded to care. The people getting offended are always parents of tards, SJWs, retards like this who know how to type full sentences on the internet but IDENTIFY with the label. Basically, people who want something to bitch about. Pretty retarded if you ask me.
It's one of those things that illustrate why "Autism Spectrum Disorder" as an umbrella category is stupid and counterproductive. "Safe foods" are for dealing with tards who'll attack you or try to starve themselves if they don't get their tendies. For spergs (like you and your friends, I have to assume), you make them eat like a regular person so they can learn to be mostly normal. It's not a big deal. But wannabe-spergs who willfully ignore the differences between high- and low-functioning autism try to co-opt the most severe symptoms so that telling them to grow up is a sooper srs ableist issue. "I'm not picky, I'm just disabled~"I have never heard the term used for autism either, and I had plenty fellow autist friends. Just seems like more self-diagnoser bullshit to prove to others how autistic they are. If I don't like a texture, I don't eat it. I don't make a big reddit display about it.
Completely OT but this is something that has been pointlessly irritating me for a while now lol. People have such a broad definition of what constitutes high or low functioning, it's all meaningless. I'll never understand why people push for ASD to be considered the same thing as AS and not the other way around. A high functioning autist is not nearly on the same level as a high functioning aspie and vice versa, but people are generally too retarded to make that distinction, that's why we need labels to begin with, and why the moment you fuck around with labels they become completely useless. Just imagine if shit like cancer didn't have 'subcategories' and was simply described as a "spectrum" where one person's cancer might manifest in their lungs and another in their colon. It's one of those things that illustrate why "Autism Spectrum Disorder" as an umbrella category is stupid and counterproductive. It's far from the first autist/tard term to be used this way. I've seen people claim to be "nonverbal" because they preferred texting or posting on the internet to talking with their family, which of course makes their phone a communication device necessary for managing their disorder. If you don't pander to them, they "meltdown" by crytyping. Not liking an itchy sweater is "sensory processing disorder" and an unexpected GIF causes "sensory overload". Avoiding chores is "executive disfunction". That new cartoon they like is a "special interest". Quoting from it is "echolalia". Following 'how are you?' with 'fine, thanks, and you?' is "scripting". Yelling and clapping when they get excited is "stimming", which is of course a totally unique behavior that only autistic people do, and telling them to be quiet is abusive "ABA". Once, I even saw someone on Tumblr claim to be outright "low-functioning" as part of some galaxy-brained grift.
With other mental illnesses, people have gotten a bit smarter about realizing that wanting your desk organized isn't OCD and having different moods isn't Bipolar Disorder. But since Autism and Asperger's Syndrome keep getting lumped in as the same thing, anyone claiming AS gets to co-opt all the activism, resources, and symptoms of ASD, and nobody calls them out.
I’m gonna create so many kids that it’ll make that giant vs Odin look like a kiss on the mouth. Fucking breedphobes will seethe at my baby making.
Well, true, but remember walking is a form of exercise, particularly if you are burdened with 10-30lbs of groceries, so it isn't actually completely unproductive time in the grander scheme of things. In a walkable community, someone might be able to walk 10 minutes to the grocery store. Because they can’t buy more than they can carry, they must go every day. So they spend 10*2*7=140 minutes a week traveling to and from the grocery store. Someone with a car spends 10 minutes driving to and from the store, but they do it once a week because they can carry a week’s groceries at once, so they only spend 10*2*1 = 20 minutes a week traveling to and from the store, a savings of two hours per week over the walker. Now this is contrived and both people could go more or less frequently, but mathematically, it is almost always more efficient to make fewer larger trips than more smaller ones.
Naw dude, he totally has the same mental disorder, by proxy.I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks the autism spectrum diagnosis is too broad.
Compare Elon Musk and that one dude who constantly screams, hits himself, and punches walls. Like no sane person would think they have the same disorder, if you told them.
Casual walking with grocercies isn’t a replacement for sustained cardio for fitness, and for losing weight it is a rounding error. At an average burn rate of 100 calories a mile, you have to do a lot of walking to make up for eating a single doughnut. There is a reason that despite being way more walkable than the US, the EU still has a very high obesity rate of 53%, which is lower than the US, but I suspect the difference is caused by the same reason why Europe has lower gun crime than the US (hint: it has nothing to do with gun ownership rates).Well, true, but remember walking is a form of exercise, particularly if you are burdened with 10-30lbs of groceries, so it isn't actually completely unproductive time in the grander scheme of things.

Isn’t the autistic stereotype being incredibly smart but socially inept? Therefore, retard can’t be a slur directed at high functioning autistic people, because retard means someone who is mentally slow, which autists are not. Why do these “autists” care so much about it then?
Exactly. And the frog in his story wasn't so much 'bathing in the sun' as 'conserving energy because who the fuck knows when the next time I'll be able to eat is, not like I can just buy flies at the supermarket'.You either eat grass all day while hoping a predator doesn't eat you alive, or starve to death as a predator because your burned more calories than you ate after hunting.
I actually wonder about this. How much of their bitchmade behavior is caused by having the free time to be stuck in their own minds all day? If they were in full-on survival mode where the brain shuts down all extraneous processing that isn't "hunt, eat, sleep, fuck, conserve energy", I actually wonder if some of them wouldn't do better than expected. These people suffer meltdowns over having to work 9-5, they would never survive as an animal.
Farming was the biggest mistake of mankind second only to the apple.Exactly. And the frog in his story wasn't so much 'bathing in the sun' as 'conserving energy because who the fuck knows when the next time I'll be able to eat is, not like I can just buy flies at the supermarket'.
