This is a few days old but I thought it was funny so I figured I'd post it.

So does Ukraine. ЦиПСО.
There is no wiki article in English.
One of their centers got bombed on one of the first days of operation afaik.
Someone even drew a weeb maskot for them. That blonde animu chick in front of a laptop. Can't be arsed to find it.

Resisting the Russian intervention, on March 2, 2014, by decisive actions, using as an armored combat vehicle a sound transmitting station on the basis of btr-80, the personnel of the Center together with officers of the 191st training detachment of the Ukrainian Navy prevented the seizure of a military town and warehouses with weapons by Russian special forces[3][4]>. Then the part lasted for almost three more weeks. The Russian command of the Military Center issued two ultimatums for surrender, and on the evening of March 22, to the Center, on the territory of the Training Detachment, the Russian invaders drove the Tigris armored vehicle and special equipment for jamming mobile communications. Ukrainian officers barricaded themselves inside the building on the floor, waiting for the assault. Unfortunately, the traitor, who on March 21 sided with the invaders, informed the enemy about the weaknesses of the besieged and showed all the exits and entrances to the house. On March 23, part of it was captured. The commander of the unit, Captain 2nd rank Vyacheslav Demianenko, was kidnapped by "green men"[6] and illegally held by them for more than ten days. Released from captivity on April 3, 2014[8][9].

Fourteen employees of the center, including officers, did not leave Crimea after the beginning of the occupation, stayed there and probably joined the enemy”

I’m very curious as to who the traitor is that this refers to.

This is obviously fake. You expect me to believe I am looking at slavic created videogame assets that don't brick my computer? At least make it believable!
Tomorrow the flags will be reversed but with special l33t hacker malware that will make your computer play the Russian National Anthem every 15 minutes unless you post "wtf I love Russia now" one hundred times on whitehouse.gov. So please, be patient.

No, cats are awesome.

The dog played a major role in the success of homo sapiens (whose rise to the top of the food chain was never a sure thing in the early days). Dogs are natural pack animals and their hunting and guarding instincts were very useful to itinerant tribesmen.

But the cat is low-key just as important in the success of the agricultural revolution, when rodents suddenly became a major problem (they eat and shit in stored grain, which could mean starvation or fatal sickness for your children). They also like to nest in human homes, which spreads disease. Mice are TERRIFIED of cats, for good reason. The smell of cat is usually enough to keep them away. For many centuries all types of European institutions would have one or more paid mousers on staff, they're pretty good at killing unwanted indoor insects too. They're still common on farms as barn cats, doing the same jobs their ancestors did 6,000 years ago.

Egypt, the first ever superpower, drew its wealth from the fertility of the Nile valley. It is not a coincidence these noble philosopher-farmers recognized the connection between graceful feline night-hunters and the gods themselves. Thank a cat today that you can enjoy bread and beer.

So the obesity pandemic is their fault!

Russia seems like they are trying to any% their way to becoming big North Korea. No matter how the war ends, the people are most likely headed towards a very bad time. I can see the Russian sanctions sticking for a while to really send the message to China what happens if you invade a country. The already pretty shit Russian diet would probably take a hit as well, and Russians love nothing more than food shortages. If Putin remains in power, he's really going to have to push the whole cult of personality and up domestic policing pretty hard to not have a full on revolt. Something else tells me China might end up becoming a lot closer with Russia if that doesn't effect their bottom line. They are on pretty decent terms with NK, sort of the worlds no no country, so I wouldn't put it past them. Maybe even do some belt and road work to get some much appreciated agricultural surfs from some of the people trying to get the fuck out of Russia, with no neighboring or NATO countries offering refugee status to them. That isn't even going into the whole Kazakhstan region. They've seen all this shit before, and I have a feeling they might want to distance themselves from the sinking ship. Kazakhstan has what seems to be a fairly decent, growing economy, so it will be interesting to see what happens if Russian backed politicians most likely loose their backing. Granted, I'm just some sped that doesn't know shit about geopolitics, but I do see potential for Russia to hoist themselves by their own themoberic petard.

In 4 hours, the argument has progressed greatly:
  • Russia has no Tochkas
  • Those were Belarusian Tochkas
  • Those aren't more Russian Tochkas being shipped in
  • 2 serial numbers probably dating back to the soviet era are similar
Do you have proofs it's Russian? Do you have proofs it's not Ukrainian?
I just want proofs either way.

When will you learn that in this information war both sides are going to claim the other did it?
That's not my argument. I'm not a fan of Ukraine BS'ing enemy losses. However I'd like to know why an image of a lot number from a pristine tochka is the proofs the Ukrainians staged a false flag when there's much more easier methods to commit such an action.
