it's like they're all the same person, it is unnerving. that i've noticed in this thread there's only been one or two who have mildly different hobbies to the rest. if you go on a dating app and scroll through a list of like 50 normal girls or guys, you'll see a decent amount of diversity in interests and opinions, but all of these ones are fucking identical in nature. how is this possible it's actually freaky

Because there are kinds of people who are vulnerable for trooning out. Most troonbians are nerdy, sometimes autistic socially akward weebs. Then there are also the hardcore autogynephilic bdsm fetishists. There isn't much diversity because trooning out is something only certain people with certain problems & mental health issues do. And when thousands of them are infesting an app like HER then it's of course really weird why they all are so similar. But it's not that mysterious. Then there are also fads within the troon community. For example being open for a poly relationship is a must nowadays. That leads to lots of men stating they are poly even tho many actually aren't (at least I think so).
It’s true, it’s bizarre- to the point where you could clock them as troons without ever seeing a photo (and this isn’t a thread for them, but this often goes for FTMs too- what group of “men” so uniformly loves Taylor Swift and astrology). It’s like a monoculture grown from cultivating your interests to always be “validated” as your true self- you can’t venture beyond video games, Discord, porn, internet communities or hobbies where you won’t be uplifted/validated, so you end up a carbon copy of all the other men doing the same thing. And they do not interact or talk with a single real girl at length, so their “womanhood” instantly triggers my “flight” response
Discord is a hive for this, I once watched this dude sat in front of me in a university lecture flirt with about 9 different trannies on Discord in the exact same 'uwu y-you look b-beautiful' typing style. He came out as transgender about a year later to nobody's surprise and today looks exactly like the discord trannies that sent him lewd selfies at uni, and exactly like the profiles in this thread. It's uncanny

I guess I'm a softie, but it's the ones with mildly different hobbies that kind of give me feels. A couple of them even seemed sort of interesting to have a beer and shoot the shit with, were it not for the "trans women are women and anyone who thinks otherwise is a TERF who deserves to be flayed and salted" rhetoric. It makes me wonder what went wrong to so irreparably break something in their brains.
