That's not quite true. RW is generally center-left (which means, that they have not much love left for the "hard-core" left such as Communists), but on some topics, they're rather skewed to say the least (about the so-called "SJW" stuff, GG and so on).

That is true though I could also argue that some elements from postmodernism and postcolonialism have slipped through here and there in some of the ideas that these people believe in, though I also do not believe that they represent the views of the mainstream left. When you have Seth MacFarlane and Bill Maher now start making fun of these SJW types, that really says it all for me.

David Gerard is guaranteed a spot because he's already a moderator. This election is in response to Paravant's resignation. The three current mods will remain as moderators.

There seems to be some confusion on whether I'll be coming back, likely because of my reversing my decision previously. The answer is no.

I came back then because it seemed that we might be actually trying to get out of the dramafest, but almost right away we jumped in feet first into even more of it, and I said I'd leave if that happended.

I have no interest or desire to be caught up in the fighting that turned me off tumblr, I have no desire to have a target on me because some other people are defending a person I'd never heard of until a few days ago, and I have no interest in watching a site iv largely stayed on because of a sense of loyalty to the place that helped me stop being a fundamentalist Christian continue on this path.

So if you want this to just be another battleground, if you want to have a go with Reddit and the farms, go ahead and go for it, but leave me out of it, imma be trying to find a part of the internet that isn't part of this stupid conflict. --"Paravant" Talk & Contribs 16:00, 21 December 2015 (UTC)

I'm an ex Gamergater. I bailed pretty early on when the 'cultural Marxism' shit started surfacing. I'm still interested in it from a sociological view, specifically the way it showed how alientated the gaming press actually are from gaming culture and it's rapidly being overshadowed by youtube and independant video. producers.
Also it's fucking hilarious watching the entire gaming journalism industry and gaming left wingers in general humiliate themselves by being outmaneuvered by idiots over a minor sex scandal.
