So uhh, it looks like Enter is creating a new personal Discord server, or at least that's what is sounds like. Maybe this is the next step towards axing Growing Around.

It’s offical, the server is up, and Patreon only. Of course, it’s probably just run by Cerra, so I doubt anything notable will come out of this. Smart move to make it patreon only since it’ll help weed out weens, but they’ll probably get through anyway.View attachment 3131162
I'm curious what's in there, but not desperate enough to give Enter my money. Anyway, this seems like a punch in the face to the Enterbots who were genuinely excited about the announcement, only to find out it's Patreon only.

I caved in and spent the $5 when it opened, so far it's just like 10 people sperging about random shit and giving Enter requests. Cerra's doing more talking than Enter but Enter's been surprisingly chill when he has been around. I think the announcement was just another new cartoon concept, but he shared so little it's hard to tell why they made a big deal out of it. The rules are just a literal copy-paste from the forum.
Any chance of a screenshot of the announcement?

:jacewow: this somehow looks worse than Growing Around, that is remarkable. It feels like like he’s trying to make his own Gravity Falls or The Owl House, but without any resemblance of talent or quality. This looks more like a 90’s DIC show than something that belongs in the modern era.
....I think this is the meanest thing I've seen written on this site.

Seems pretty similar to another cartoon enter's already reviewed:

Remember kids: It’s not stealing, if you’re “improving” it!
I genuinely wonder if enter can come up with a show idea that isn’t just blatantly reworked from something he reviewed.

I wonder if someone would post the discord link to somewhere outside of John's patreon.

That man does not seem to have any original thoughts.

Just checked, but it seems like he disabled creating invites, and the way Patreon works you never get a direct link. The only way it'd happen would be if Enter and co ever posted an invite in a public server for some reason.
Predictable. Knowing Jon, he'll want to keep a close eye on the people that enter his server and make sure no one unsavory (i.e. us) gets in.

The only people who are going to follow this are existing Enterbots with money. Enterbots without money are going to find another creator to obsess over, and nobody who isn't already an Enterbot is going to donate just to be reassured something doesn't suck. I know another content creator who tried this shit, and it worked temporarily, but then people got fed up having to pay for transparency.

I'm seeing more and more creators use Patreon as a way to stealthily paywall their content. Creators who do this shit should lose the privileges that creators of actual non-commercial content get, like leeway when it comes to copyright issues.

Since everything's been dead, here's something I've been thinking about: what is unironically the "best" thing Enter's created?
Personally I'd vote for Technocracy, but that's the easy answer.
I'd say Admirable Animations mostly because it was a good method of shining light on more obscure pieces of animated media.

Too bad he's not making those anymore.

Gonna be honest I was expecting more/something different from that title and cover
Knowing John I was expecting it to be about how
"Childhood is in fact the worst part of your life and everything you're told is a lie and everyone and everything is out to get you because the world treats children as sub-human" etc
Hell the premise he actually came up sounds boring as fuck
