It doesn't "come back", it just gets reactivated in the NPC mind since TPTB have decreed we must live crisis to crisis. Actual crises right now like the supply chain, inflation, the danger to our entire economic model, or the impending food issues don't register, since that leads to people questioning our rulers.
I notice this "crisis to crisis" model first truly solidified last decade, probably because it wasn't possible without widespread access to 24 hour news media and social media. The Recession still had enough "credible" voices criticizing Wall Street and our economic planners for their failure that it led to mass protests and totally wiped their credibility (alongside other last gasps of legacy media like Snowden, Wikileaks, etc.).
Personally, I find this worrying since nationwide race riots and pogroms against white people only bought us two weeks of freedom from the Chinese virus, while a great power invading a nearby nation only bought us two months of freedom. At this rate, I bet a global nuclear war would only buy us 2 years of freedom before the local warlords all "somehow" decide we need to be afraid of the virus again.
If they start culling the furbabies and pupperinos of covid positive cases do you think that will finally wake up westerners?
The majority, yes, but for the hardcore Covidians (maybe 5-10% of the population), hell no. They beg for government oppression and will gladly sacrifice their pets and demand everyone else do the same just so they look virtuous. They would take pictures of their pet being handed off to some hazmat-suited government thug saying how it's a necessary sacrifice to protect people.
Personally, I don't think this will happen with the current scamdemic. It's too overplayed now for any Western government to do anything as hardcore as China is doing in Shanghai (which as has been noted, reeks of a political purge), so we'll just keep chugging on with vaccine passports, mandatory tests, etc. I mean we can't go full China at once after all. But the general lack of condemnation from the West (even though people in Shanghai are enduring conditions on par with someone in Ukraine right now) proves our elites will probably do the same in the next scamdemic, especially since culling pets (because of muh carbon emissions) is a huge goal for our elite.
This is because there are actually several overlapping injunctions issued by multiple courts, all piled up in a sweaty orgy of "oh no you don't!". The TX injunction (a part of the 5th Circuit) that got canned last Thursday was the most recent one, and was very interesting because it was a nationwide block. The 11th Circuit case that you linked to is the next step in the progress of the injunction from Georgia that issued last December. It's name is State of Georgia, et al v. President of the United States, et al. The Georgia injunction is also a nationwide block, just like the TX one. I looked around for more docs from last week's hearing on this one that don't require me to paypiggy for PACER or Law360, but so far no dice. Hopefully someone will share them soon so I can take a closer look.
