I was actually wondering what the chances were of this and sort of hoped for it honestly. We already knew a gen 2 was coming, but what with all the shit Lumi dealt with and the stream where her and Pippa clicked it seemed like it would be a decent option. I admit I'm not familiar with Yuri much, I know I've seen her around in and out some streams (Probably Tenma's bigger collabs?) but Lumi popping in is kind of cool. I mostly lost track after she mostly ditched youtube for twitch (except some shorts and clips after a while) so guess we'll see if she ends up working with it a little more again or not.

Now the question is, does having another buddy reign Pippa in or does this create another potential chaos vortex to abuse fishman with? For those who missed their last collab, Lumi had some very good points towards being "on the Pipkin spectrum."

People on /vt/ are interpreting the PC tweet as basically an actual division to poach indies and small corpos, aka declaration of war in the small corpo sphere and a signal for aggressive expansion.
Recently Tsunderia talent and talent manager Umiushi Urara resigned without any word why, there is speculation now that she may have joined PC as an actual talent manager and possibly in this new division.

Interesting. She did a collab with Sakana not too long ago in a sort of interview-type of deal where they both got asked about managing Vtubers. She apparently knows Sakana IRL and it wouldn't surprise me if she jumped ship. Something that concerns me is that I hope they get an actual project manager to handle things. Maybe I'm just talking out of my ass but it seems like they are mostly letting the talents do whatever. Organizing and planning events creates hype around the brand.

That's an interesting take.

To be honest hilarious too if it ends up being true. I can't say I feel bad if he keeps yoinking and sniping talents from places if they've been treating them like shit. Despite the early misgivings, Fishman actually has shown himself to be pretty decent as far as taking care of the talents and letting them do their thing. Whether or not that continues as they keep growing is always to be seen of course. I'm honestly not super worried about him being a shitheel so far since he seems to be mostly content to chill and see how things go.
If there's a point where Tenma's like "Alright fuck this place Sakana SUCKS" and suddenly leaves PC then yeah I'll 180 that pretty hard though.

Man, Shin Takarajima brings me back to early 2020 when the girls used to sing this song all the time and it stuck in my head. I especially loved Okayu's version when she "danced" during the interlude and raised her fist at the end just like in the MV. That's why this mashup is so great (among other things):
