General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

A bit late, but I just noticed that beside the ikemen parody song made for the 1st april, not-Azki/Nayuta side music group La Prière did start a crowfunding project for a Live Concert that got successfully funded and planned for August 27th 2022.

The interesting tidbit is that this project started after a failed attempt to fund their 3D models, and they got a lot more than anticipated...(currently 18,475,000 ¥ for the 5,000,000 ¥ initial goal).

This might be one of the rare case where fans of a vtuber music group prefer live than 3D performance (and a chance for oversea people to check her IRL since some parts will have paid live broadcast, I don't think they will use Live 2d since some tickets will give access to live practice streams).

So... i watched a bit of Shylily (this is the closest to watch vshojo-like content i will ever make). I really like her model, its the best ones i ever saw in a female vtuber. If you lurk enough you will see she started with a custom cursed face vroid avatar, so yeah its not the end of the world if someone starts with one of those things. All that said, my complaints on the stream are the same of many of the top twitch vtubers: Invasive bits alert sounds, the usual twitch chat cancer spam and reddit posts reaction (fuck that shit); yes, she says sometimes things over the top, its the lewd orca after all, but at least for her i dont find it too disturbing. Not the type the streams i like to watch tho.

Now if she makes it to Talk with the Devil, i imagine Vei seething and malding in silence.

A company that wanted to start a new thing, like the theoretical one Kson isn't really starting (though she teases like she might), could put not-Rushia to good use. But to keep her sane (enough), it would have to be a company made up entirely of people she respects. "Fucking losers trying to undermine me!" is one of her fundamental bad thoughts. She seems to only really respect Kson and a bunch of minor male celebrities.

Most of Filian's clips seem to be posted by Filian herself based on my recommendations.

Seems kinda annoying, trying too hard to be a "meme master" and also a bit thot-ish.

Not really my cup of tea.

Last one unfortunately is privated but I liked the Ririsya one a lot, the first is a bit too cutesy for me.

And with Aqua, yeah, usually if you play with players your level they won't let you be as dumb and you can't bully them into just doing what you say.
