Hmm since DSP caught on to everyone realizing he was copying Asmon's strategy of double halberd jump attack spamming, then immediately having some other build a stream after the last NEW BUILD !!! one with axes, I decided to read a bit about his new weapon, Blasphemous Blade. The fact he decided to level this thing up immediately without trying it out to a +9 made me look more into this.

Faith/Str scaling weapon that has split fire/physical damage.
Heals you on enemy deaths in the vicinity.
Weapon art shits out a ton of multi-hit damage. Heals for what it hits for.

Reading how it can cheese Malenia phase 1 and we have seen it decimate the tree thing when he decided enough is enough dying to it 3 times, and used it. Easy 1/3rd health gone in an instant. No different than the Godslayer Sword he picked up before Black Blade Kindred in the Divine Tower of Caelid.

Why am I posting this and why do I care? I don't know man. He is playing the only game I enjoyed, isn't made for kids and requires some level of skill(unless you're garbage like Phil who insists on making the game easy). So heads up and I hope people meme the game to death that he didn't really beat the game because of this cheese nonsense.

I always used to just read about Phil every once in a while or watch a youtube video about him, but never actually watched any of his content. Holy shit, the snort thing is not just a meme is it? He does it all the time and it is the most disgusting sound I've ever heard. Like how could anyone be in the same room with him for longer than an hour without going insane.

It's been speculated that the snorts are at least partially on purpose because there have been streams where Phil is trying to act professional and he manages to suppress them for an extended period of time. That combined with the way he tends to actually lean into the mic to snort, and how he will angrily denounce anyone who suggests that he should even consider hitting the mute button when he needs to snort, and how he sometimes goes on an obnoxious series of fake snorts and throat clears as a lame joke... Yeah I'd say he considers it part of his 'character' and is doing it on purpose at least some of the time. Phil also claims it's because of post nasal drip and you're an asshole for attacking someone with a medical condition if you call it out. He likes things that make him a victim, endlessly attacked by the cruel trolls of the internet.

So DSP doesn't like the bosses cause they don't sit down, call you over and give you a rundown of every move they do in the order they do it and how much damage it does which means they really ran out of ideas in this game. It's the game's fault that he keeps trying to face tank things and gets one shot. It's not valid gameplay or a challenge cause he can't facetank it on the horse and the game expects him to dodge with this build that is based around the blasphomus blade that DOESN'T use the sword art which is the whole point to having the blade.

Here's my theory. DSP's tragic tism makes him mistake reviewing Elden Ring (the program) for reviewing Elden Ring (the gaming experience). When reviewers bring up bugs and glitches, it is usually in the context of diminishing the experience. To DSP, that's the equivalent of failing your C++ test and points should be deducted from the final grade. By his logic, a game that boots can never be a 0/10. Quite hilarious considering he could not navigate a Comp Sci 101 textbook.

I actually don't think DSP has any relationship with games beyond the changes in his Paypal balance.
