IP2 Andy Dick - From having his own tv show and being in movies with Pauly Shore to sleeping on a cot eating liver and onions, he truly is "living his best life"

Ignore my shaking hand. I thought these were like guidelines/rules on what sort of content is and isn't good.
How do you explain the Bam Margera thread? Just because someone is "famous" doesn't mean that they can't be scrutinised nor documented for their cowish behavior.

I don't agree with that thread either; but it's better than a comedian/actor's life. Name 5 comedians and I could write 5 threads before the end of the day if I didn't care about objectivity.

Doug Stanhope defended child pornography and passes out in his own vomit.
Richard Belzer brags about watching his wife get fucked and how awesome that is,
Louis CK got #metoo'd
Paul Rubens got caught with his dick out
George Burns had a nazi maid who almost ended that man's whole career.

If I tried hard enough to spin shit about celebrities, they're all fucking retarded. That's the issue.

In case you don't know, Andy Dick had a music career. Most of his music is absolutely awful but there's one song I am very, very fond of. However, I may be the only person in the world to like any of his music. In any digital copy of this song I could find for *years*, it had 3 seconds missing from the top (important to the song) and then follows up the very sentimental song with the first 3 seconds of "I'LL FUCK ANYTHING THAT MOVES". This obviously completely fucking ruins it.

So, apropos of nothing in OP, here is a song I really like by Andy Dick: Secret Garden.

In case you're wondering, it's a song about suicide and how struggle is relative to the individual.

Well if you think that then at what point do we not/can't talk about a famous person?

I would agree with you on the exact same point if this was at the peak of his career or just after; But it's not it's beyond the end of his career. It's just a waiting game to hear the news he's dead in a gutter just to be forgotten a few days later. He has faded into obscurity except with the odd reference from shows that like to say "Remember the 90's - 2000's? Here's Andy Dick." Trying to be edgy

Name another celebrity who is just as fucked if not more than Andy Dick and I'll concede

OP really needs more details, also archive everything you can but here somethings I didn't see in the OP, feel free to add any of it if you wish. Always a good idea to go into this expecting the readers to have no idea who he is and write it from that point of view.
With that said he is more than fitting for a thread, celebrities are allowed threads if they get them self's into drama which he clearly does.

Andy Dick Fired From Movie Over Sexual Harassment Claims

Though the 51-year-old actor denies he groped anyone, he does admit to other inappropriate behavior: "I might have kissed somebody on the cheek to say goodbye and then licked them. That's my thing."

Andy Dick has been dropped from the independent feature film Raising Buchanan following accusations of sexual harassment and misconduct on set.

The Hollywood Reporter has not been able to reach any of the alleged victims. However, two sources detailed Dick’s inappropriate behavior, which included groping people’s genitals, unwanted kissing/licking and sexual propositions of at least four members of the production. It’s unclear if those involved were actors or crew.

Late Monday, THR spoke to Dick, who confirmed he was let go from his small role in the film. Though he vehemently denied groping claims, he said it’s possible that he licked people and he confirmed that he did make advances on others.

To anyone who has followed Dick’s legal troubles, his well-documented history of outlandish comedy and his often intentionally offensive behavior, his dismissal may not come as a surprise. But the claims can be seen as more unsettling in today’s cultural climate in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal (or ousted figures like Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly, Amazon Studios’ Roy Price, political journalist Mark Halperin, The Loud House creator Chris Savino and the list of accused sexual harassers goes on, and now includes Kevin Spacey and director James Toback).

Dick said he’s aware of his reputation. At first, the actor made light of the situation, joking that “my middle name is ‘misconduct.’ They know what they signed up for.” However, he followed up with a denial that he ever groped anyone on set.

“I don’t grope people anymore. I don’t expose myself anymore,” Dick said by telephone. (Also well-documented is his history of exposing his genitals in public and onstage.) “I do understand that the temperature in the world right now is delicate.”

He claimed that the temperature on set in Arizona was delicate, too, and that he contributed to that by bringing up Weinstein. “Can I tell you my side of it?” Dick then asked before asserting that the filmmakers could’ve been upset that he was talking about or perhaps defending Weinstein, with whom he made two films. “They were so incensed by what I was saying. People are so sensitive,” Dick added, without elaborating on exactly what he said.

Written and directed by Bruce Dellis, Raising Buchanan stars Rene Auberjonois, Amanda Melby, Shannon Whirry and M. Emmet Walsh in the story of a woman who steals the corpse of former U.S. President James Buchanan (Auberjonois) hoping to land a ransom, but it seems that nobody is interested in getting the body back. Joe Gruberman is the sole producer on the project, and when reached by THR, he declined to comment on the situation.

Dick’s small gig on the film seemed to go off the rails from the start. He showed up late to the set after missing his flight in Los Angeles. He hadn’t memorized his lines and brought a male friend to the set who caused a disturbance by falling asleep and snoring during filming, sources say.

Dick addressed all of the above when speaking with THR, but claimed groping never occurred. “I didn’t grope anybody. I might have kissed somebody on the cheek to say goodbye and then licked them. That’s my thing — I licked Carrie Fisher at a roast. It’s me being funny. I’m not trying to sexually harass people,” he said.

“I didn’t grab anybody’s genitals,” he continued, but he did not deny that he propositioned others. “Of course I’m going to proposition people. I’m single, depressed, lonely and trying to get a date. They can just say no, and they probably did and then I was done.”

One of the sources on set questioned Dick’s sobriety and claimed that he appeared and acted as if he were intoxicated. The actor has been to rehab more than a dozen times and has been transparent in the past about his long and tumultuous battle with substance abuse. A Vice profile, published a year ago, opened with this sentence: “Gropings, genital exposures, grand theft: Andy Dick’s litany of offenses to society is long and egregious.”

While the story noted the “trail of destruction and bemusement Dick left in his wake, fueled by alcohol, cocaine, and an utter inability to keep his hands to himself,” the Jemayel Khawaja-written piece included one major piece of positive news — that Dick was two years sober.

THR questioned Dick about his sobriety, and he claimed to be sober despite a medication mix-up. “I overtook my medication and took too many Xanax and I was a bit loopy [on set]. That didn’t make me rape people. I really don’t get it. I’m always trying to be funny and trying to get a date. I still don’t have a date. I am on Tinder and I’m looking,” he said.

Dick contends that part of his problem is he’s 51 and unaware of what the rules are for proper behavior. “I don’t know the difference between sexual harassment and trying to get a date. In the ’70s, all the girlfriends I got was by kissing and licking their cheek. I don’t know anymore,” he said. “There were beautiful women and beautiful guys on the set. I flirt with them. I might kiss someone on the set and ask them to go to dinner. They are the ones that took it south.”

Dick also said that the man who was caught snoring on the set was his friend Paul Ryder, the bass player from the British band Happy Mondays. Ryder is his “sober companion,” though if he was snoring, it’s possible that “he overdid his medication, too,” Dick added. “He’s sober and I’m sober. He’s sitting with me right now. He’s my best friend. I didn’t hear him snore, but I have bad ears.” Ryder then spoke up in the background, telling THR, “I never saw him grope.”

Dick ended the call by saying that if he continues to run into allegations of misconduct, he will retire. But he’s not quite ready for that yet as he’s still got a slew of projects lined up and he was eager to promote his new documentary, Everybody Has an Andy Dick Story.

Dick ended this most recent chapter by saying that he’s learned his lesson. “I won’t do it anymore,” he said. “I won’t lick anyone’s face anymore. We have an agreement.”

Andy Dick Once Had an On-Set Handler to Prevent Sexual Harassment: “He Hated Me”

Andy Dick once had his own handler to prevent sexual harassment on set while working on NBC's short-lived sitcom 'Go Fish' in 2001.

Andy Dick’s decades-long history of sexual misconduct and outrageous behavior is back in the news after he was charged July 2 in Los Angeles with one count of sexual battery and one count of simple battery for allegedly grabbing a woman’s butt and making lewd comments.

The charges didn’t come as a surprise to a woman with whom he worked on NBC’s short-lived high school-set sitcom Go Fish in 2001. The series, created by Adam Herz and Pam Brady, centered on Andy “Fish” Troutner (Kieran Culkin) as he started his first year of high school alongside fellow students played by Kyle Sabihy, Taylor Handley, Will Friedle, Adam Brody and JoAnna Garcia Swisher.

While the woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, first started her job on the show as a nonunion extra, she tells THR that she was offered a promotion of sorts. After shooting several episodes, the woman claims she was pulled into a meeting with producers and “higher-ups” who informed her that Dick had been “cornering underage actors and saying nasty sexually explicit things,” she recalls.

Though they didn’t want to make a big deal about it, she recalls, they asked her to act as a harassment cop of sorts by thwarting any conversations Dick attempted to have with any of the younger actors on set. “Any time you see Andy approach one of the actors, just butt into the conversation like, ‘Hey guys, what’s going on.’ In my 20-year-old mind, I knew that it was a shady situation, but I wasn’t worried about Andy Dick and so I said yes.”

In exchange, producers promised her that she would do enough work on the show to obtain her SAG card.

“Needless to say Andy hated me and groaned, rolled his eyes and sighed anytime he saw me come around,” she continues. Despite her efforts, however, she says that one of the teenage actors, who was 19 at the time, escaped Dick’s dressing room after the actor allegedly attempted to lock him in and expose his penis.

The experience was enough to cause her to leave the business and, instead, pursue a career in music by teaching recording and mixing. “I didn’t want to live like that,” she said. The woman now lives and works in Michigan.

THR reached out to reps for Herz, Brady, Culkin, Sabihy, Handley, Friedle and Garcia Swisher for comment on this story. No one responded.

Stories of misconduct, harassment and outlandish behavior have been a through-line of Dick’s career. Just last October, the actor admitted to THR that he had been fired from a small role in an independent film for acting inappropriately on the Arizona set. “I didn’t grope anybody. I might have kissed somebody on the cheek to say goodbye and then licked them. That’s my thing — I licked Carrie Fisher at a roast. It’s me being funny. I’m not trying to sexually harass people,” he said at the time. “I didn’t grab anybody’s genitals,” he continued, but he did not deny that he propositioned others. “Of course I’m going to proposition people. I’m single, depressed, lonely and trying to get a date. They can just say no, and they probably did and then I was done.”

Andy Dick Charged With Sexual Battery

Andy Dick was charged with one count of sexual battery and one count of simple battery, according to the Los Angeles City Attorney's office. He is due back in court July 18.

Andy Dick on Monday was charged with one count of sexual battery and one count of simple battery, the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter.

The exact report of where the charges came from is unclear, but TMZ reports that police sources said a woman filed a report claiming the comedian squeezed her butt twice as he walked past her on a sidewalk back in April. She also claimed he made lewd comments. He is due back in court July 18.

Dick has made numerous headlines through the years for his outrageous and lewd behavior.

In October, Dick was dropped from the independent feature film Raising Buchanan following accusations of sexual harassment and misconduct on set.

Around that time, THR spoke with Dick and he confirmed he was let go from his small role in the film, although he denied any groping claims, but said it was possible he licked people and he confirmed that he did make advances on others.

Comic Andy Dick pleads not guilty in Uber-driver sexual battery case

Andy Dick pleaded not guilty on Friday to one count of misdemeanor sexual battery stemming from an incident last year in which he allegedly groped a ride-share driver in West Hollywood, the L.A. County district attorney’s office confirmed.

If convicted of the crime, which allegedly occurred on April 12, 2018, the comedian could face up to 180 days in county jail. His next court date, a pretrial hearing, is scheduled for Nov. 4.

The driver, who filed a report to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department, alleged that Dick reached over and grabbed his genitals during an Uber ride, according to TMZ.

“The allegations against Andy Dick are completely baseless,” said Daniel Kapelovitz, Dick’s attorney, in a statement provided to The Times. “It was our understanding that the District Attorney realized that this case had no merit, and that is why the case was never filed. Then, more than a year later, we learn from TMZ that there was an outstanding warrant based on a misdemeanor complaint that was filed just prior to the statute of limitations running out. If this case is not dismissed outright, we look forward to defending against these false accusations.”

This is not the first time Dick has faced sexual misconduct allegations. In August, a New Orleans man whom Dick had accused of assault claimed the 53-year-old had groped and winked at him first, allegedly prompting him to sucker-punch the comic, knocking him unconscious for 15 minutes.

Police arrested comedian Andy Dick Monday on domestic violence charges, according to police.

The Los Angeles Police Department's spokesperson Bruce Borihanh confirmed the arrest to USA TODAY Friday. The 55-year-old was let out on $50,000 bond later that day and is due back in court on March 7, according to Los Angeles County jail records.

USA TODAY has reached out to Dick's representatives for comment.

Monday's arrest is the latest of the "Road Trip" actor's legal troubles. In 2019, Dick pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor count of sexual battery for allegedly groping his Lyft driver, his attorney Daniel Kapelovitz confirmed to USA TODAY.

The alleged groping incident took place in West Hollywood, California, on April 12, 2018, according to a press release from the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office.

Dick has been arrested and sued over several other groping accusations through the years, including a 2010 incident involving a bouncer and patron at a West Virginia bar.

Criminal charges were dismissed after Dick completed a pretrial diversion program.

In June 2018, the entertainer was accused of groping a woman on a Los Angeles street, landing him misdemeanor sexual battery and battery charges. Days later, videos resurfaced of the actor rubbing Ivanka Trump’s legs during an episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in 2007 and fondling Pamela Anderson's breasts during a 2005 Comedy Central roast.

In October 2017, in wake of Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein's fall and the rise of the #MeToo movement, Dick was fired from his role in the film "Raising Buchanan" following claims of sexual harassment and misconduct on set, he confirmed in an interview to The Hollywood Reporter.

According to THR, Dick was accused of "groping people’s genitals, unwanted kissing/licking and sexual propositions of at least four members of the production."

"I don't grope people anymore. I don't expose myself anymore," he told The Hollywood Reporter by telephone. "I do understand that the temperature in the world right now is delicate."

Andy Dick is arrested in drug and battery case

Actor and comedian Andy Dick, who has a history of run-ins with the law, was arrested early Wednesday outside a Murrieta restaurant on suspicion of sexual battery and drug possession.
Police said Dick, who was heavily intoxicated, grabbed and fondled the breast of a 17-year-old girl before pulling her top down in the parking lot of the Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar about 1:15 in the morning.
“The victim was traumatized by this,” said Lt. Dennis Vrooman, spokesman for the Murrieta Police Department.
Police later found one gram of marijuana and one Xanax anti-anxiety pill in Dick’s pocket. He was arrested and later released on $5,000 bail.
It was the latest in a string of encounters that Dick, 42, has had with authorities. The former star of the comedy series “NewsRadio” was cited last year in Columbus, Ohio, for urinating in public. He was kicked off the set of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” for repeatedly touching fellow guest Ivanka Trump. In 1999 he drove his car into a telephone pole and was charged with possession of cocaine and marijuana.

Calls to his manager were not returned.

Vrooman said police had already warned Dick about his intoxication before he went to the restaurant. Officers had encountered the comedian while responding to an altercation at the Corner Pocket Sports Cafe in Murrieta about 9 p.m. Tuesday. They told him to leave or face possible arrest on public intoxication charges. He left with five or six friends.

Dick, who listed his address as Woodland Hills, told officers he was in town to attend the funeral of a friend’s father.

Later that night, Dick and his entourage arrived at the Buffalo Wild Wings and began drinking, police said. He was recognized by several patrons, including the alleged victim, who approached him.

Vrooman said the girl, who is from Murrieta, tried to talk to Dick but backed off when she realized how intoxicated he was.

Sara Lidman, one of the restaurant managers, would say only that Dick was in the bar with friends.

Police said that when Dick left he spotted the girl and her friend in the parking lot and shouted, “There are the girls!”

“He groped her breast with his right hand, then pulled down her top,” Vrooman said.

The teen’s friend called police.

When they arrived, they found Dick in the front seat of a Honda pickup truck heading toward a nearby Sam’s Club parking lot.

Officers stopped the truck and forced all the men inside to line up so the girl could identify the man who allegedly groped her. She pointed to Dick.

A search of his pockets turned up the Xanax and marijuana. He did not have a prescription for the Xanax, police said.

Vrooman said Dick was belligerent at first and then answered officers’ questions.

On Saturday, Dick was spotted at Pepe’s Mexican Restaurant and Cantina in Canyon Lake in Riverside County.

“My understanding was that he was drinking soda water and was not drunk,” said Pepe’s owner Marty Gibson. “There was no altercation that I heard of.”

Dick was arrested on suspicion of sexual battery, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana, and he may yet be charged with public intoxication, Vrooman said.

He is scheduled to be arraigned Aug. 12 in Murrieta.

Andy Dick isn't living that much worse of a life than any other comedian of his era, he just never settled down, thats his main problem. look at the rest of the cast of newsradio or ben stiller show. its fucking rough. unlesss you're a genuine superstar the money doesn't come in regularly enough, there's a reason everyone is shilling crap on social media now.

Honestly Andy Dick's sense of humor is much more advanced than you'd expect from his personal life. the andy dick show was mainly Orwell or Swift tier satire for the then modern age. Which is probably why he still got work up until a few years ago, beyond that it also shows how just not being political means you can get away with fucking everything in hollywood. This guy was still getting notable roles in shit all the way until 2017, and had actually tv shows and long term roles until 2006.

There are/were plenty, and people worse than Andy Dick too; a lot of them are dead now. The fact that Andy Dick has survived this long is the only thing that makes him semi-unique. Charlie Sheen is a good example of an extant celebrity who is about as bad as Andy, and Chris Farley is a good example of someone who died living Andy's lifestyle.

I think you fail to understand that this retard has gone from appearing on cable and mainstream TV to now live-streaming himself being a constant 24/7 degenerate who has failed rehab so many times the state has effectively slapped a "will never improve" stamp on his file. You joined the farms at the same exact time he was brought up in IP2 only recently which leads me to believe you're either him trying to defend your horrendous downfall or some IP2 faggot who follows him around religiously.

How did it feel killing Phil Hartman, dick?

Nah, I definitely do. I don't get to decide what people laugh at or find funny, but I definitely do decide what a lolcow is because I seem to be the only person alive who knows what a lolcow is. Without a clear definition of what a lolcow is, then what's stopping people from getting into a fight with their friend and making a thread with embarrassing facts about him? What stops people from pure vendetta posting? There has to be a standard.

You can be mad about what I'm saying or you can just do better.
