My guess is that people see the term 'World Server' and assume it means all of the bramches: which, to be fair, isn't exactly unreasonable.

But yes, the JP server is hosted by Dola and she pays the server costs. The World Server was for all the branches to collaborate in theory, but in practice it was rare for a JP member to show up and build there. It then just became the de facto home of every branch but JP, including India.

There's a lot of gates to connect but now that EN has a dedicated server and ID/KR are now just 'Nijisanji' it makes sense to connect JP, EN, and World together.

Not that surprising for Ina as she was already friends with Sana pre holo.

And with Kronii, they're the Korean girls.

Ame/gura and gura/calli collabs were a hit straight away, they're the Americans.

Even with an avatar masking your race, there's still comfort in your own I guess.

Kanata was supposed to have her comeback stream tomorrow; her 1st stream in a while since she contracted COVID, but apparently a relative died. She's hoping she can still stream tomorrow

Koyori had another Duolingo stream. It's endearing how slowly and seriously she takes it: she points out to chat exactly which parts she doesn't understand, compares her word choices to Duolingo's ("it is my name" vs. "that is my name", "holiday" vs. "vacation"), and pays attention to Duolingo's corrections instead of speedrunning and seething like her genmates. She's also fond of the Duolingo stories, if you wanted to see more of those.
