Textbook manipulation. The whole twitlonger absolutely positively 100% shows all the hallmarks of a sociopathic manipulative narcissist.

I always thought Adam was just a doofus who fell into these situations because he has the mind of a child and therefore could be treated like one with the fallout of any of any of them, but the way in which this 'statement' is worded shows some actual cognitive trickery that exceeds any of those excuses. I can;t really be arsed to go through the whole thing, but I do want to note the major points.

The first 80% of it is simplifying the whole exchange in terms that a) portray Adam as an unwilling victim of catfishing and more insidiously b) work to obsfucate the reader by lulling them with over-explanatory dialogue to lull them into skimming through to the penultimate paragraph. This allows him to have given the illusion of confronting everything, but not actually doing so.

The penultimate paragraph is what he hopes people pay attention to - he opens by pretending to admit to being at fault, but quickly steering that fault towards his abundance of trust and again putting himself in the position of victim to garner sympathy. He makes sure to conclude that with a PSA to the reader as a gear shift, confusing them that he is now an arbiter of trust within online relationships.

The final paragraph continues this PSA narrative, includes a hollow apology (which he's hoped the reader has switched off enough before to accept as the only actual apology he needs to make) and severs any further arguments against him by stating his boundaries as to why he won't be responding any more.

For the first time in my life I am a little bit in awe of the Cheebster. He's a lying little twat, he's a fucking unrepetant sex pest and he's the absolute definition of cringe - but my god is he good at it.

Okay so I remember a spot on one of his favorite mariokart tracks where you can basically cheat whoever actually played out of first place via a glitch.

He'd brag to me about exploiting this and showed me all of them. It was something like "because it's a cheat you can Google it doesn't count as cheating." He'd apply this same justification to speed runs. It was very much the logic of a 5 year old trying to say he has the super mega death cannon that goes infinity plus plus. Like the act of coming in first, not the skill it takes, is what is impressive and has no concept of the spirit of the game.

Tbh everything you see online is really exactly him irl. He creeps on teen girls, has no self awareness, and is just a cringey dick to everyone but especially the people who try their damndest.

I don't remember what but he did weeb shit at his dad's funeral.

The part where the revelation that it was a (fake) 16 yr old was cut off, so it was right at the end of the log (we are assuming, since it isn't actually in the logs). The ween that did it didn't post the end of the logs for some reason. And if you read the logs it's fairly early on that he asks for video evidence.

Originally he claimed to have cut contact after he asked for a video of her saying the words "I'm real," which isn't in the chat log, in his twitlonger he says it was because she told him she was 16, which also isn't there. He's given two different reasons for cutting her off, the chatlog we've seen only shows him tossing out the idea of her giving him proof she's real then meekly changing the subject when she gives a bullshit excuse.
