A few pages back, some of you commented on the drama surrounding the Uki mod nonsense... Well, it has some weight behind it when chat looks like this at points:

Apparently one of the mods was telling people not to donate or super either, which is ass backwards. Frankly a valid lesson should be learned; set up a fucking bot to mod for you. Fitting mind, that the most overtly gay member of the EN group would generate the most social media sass.
For context, this screenshot apparently happened because Uki himself asked "Who do we prank next" and so every comment that answered his question got deleted for "mentioning a different streamer". Apparently, you're just supposed to know that the question was "rhetorical" and you're not allowed to answer it.

Dang, after Pippa surprised us by doing a karaoke for almost 4 hours and actually singing well today she casually drops that she has an original song in the works! Any bets on what it will be about; trying to reach out to people after living as NEET all your life, a deeply nuanced take on the accomplishments and suffering of Terry A. Davis and others like him, or empty platitudes poorly translated from Japanese?

Kidding aside this has been a really good year for her. I don't want to get all sappy right now but I'm really happy that she is succeeding by doing the things that people are told not to do now a days. It kind of gives me hope that there is still a place for things like edgy humor and general not pozzed content and just brings some warmth to my cold dead heart.

Once an asian, always an asian.

Honey, it's time for your daily dose of WACTOR drama!

Feel free to clock me if this was already posted.
Insane.

Since the tournament starts in 100 minutes here is the live score board once again.
Looking at the 5 days of scrims Kuzuha's team took the 1st place, Kurumi Noah 2nd (feat. Ex and Reimu) and Pakael 3rd.
Team Towa/Aqua/Susei became 5th, Hoshikawa/Matsuri 7nd, Astel 16th and Aqua achieved 3rd place in total kills. I'm curious how they perform under the competition pressure.

Not a drill: Our lovely Hope and Death will be trying the Mukirose Challenge! Ina will probably join soon™️

Who beats Tree Sentinel first?!
Irys finally finished it and won with some great patient play!

Calli's def the worse of the three but only like a tier below, was mostly on an equal footing once she caught up on the patterns and punishments, all of them had plenty of close runs but Ina I feel had the most and could've arguably won if not for some dastardly Shrek meme sabotages.

Kronii is also mentioned to be doing her own run timed by herself.
They also want to do a Margrit run and eventually pvp when Calli sets up a PC character.

For some reason it did feel like if anyone were to have these sorta issues, it'd be Uki. It's not even the gay thing, it's just that something about him seems to just scream Twitter stan magnet. Honestly, wouldn't be surprised if the whole heterophobia/heterochromia malapropism(?) at the debut sealed his fate.

just saw Mika playing Visual Novel and using the boys as voice actor,
actually not a bad idea to get your fujo market and make the streaming visual novel (Nekopara for the boys) more entertaining. even if it isn't for the most viewers, it basically fans servicing the player itself.

not my cup of tea but i like the concept
Actually a pretty genius idea, and it seemingly paid off for her. Didn't watch it for very long when it was live, but there were 17k+ live viewers when I checked in.

Less than an hour until the V-Saikyou tournament. All the scrims are over and done with, so it's 'Do or Die' for them now.

Wouldn't it be kinda awkward if Reimu's team actually won, or at least did extremely well like in scrims? In the sense that Selen was meant to be the god of Apex, yet she ultimately didn't place very well, yet here's Reimu acing her first tournament. Don't get me wrong, CR Cup and V-Saikyou are probably on completely different levels of competition and difficulty, I just hope retards don't start giving Selen shit about it.

Not at all cause Reimu is a support player vs. big dick Selen. Don't worry people shit on Selen already but she is a good FPS player and I would go so far as to lightly compare her tournament experience to Aqua this time. Shit is different, both are fun.

What do you mean didn't place well? Selen wasn't in this tournament. She did one RIG cup with was a disaster because the servers were shit and another where her team placed slightly below the middle, like 11 or 12 iirc. And RIG has much stronger teams than V-Saikyou, though the atmosphere is arguably less serious. The top RIG teams would waltz through V-Saikyou by virtue of having actual pro players.

We've seen Selen go head to head with Reimu in the kill races and get more kills than her in tougher lobbies. If Selen ever feels threatened she can just do another collab with Reimu and dump her in high-rank lobbies.

I'm sure retards on /vt/ will give her shit because that's what they do, but I wouldn't expect it to extend much beyond there. As far as I know, nobody gave Aqua shit for being bad at Apex whenever Towa or Matsuri did well in tournaments. Plenty of vtube tournament winners aren't people viewed as being the best players, even in their agencies, since teams aren't supposed to be stacked with the best players. Seto Miyako from Nijisanji won a CR Cup for example but most people wouldn't even put her in the top 5 in the agency for Apex. She won because she did well on a team with two stronger players (Bora and Cpt).

The irony wouldn't be lost on me that Reimu could leave this tournament as NijiEN's most-accomplished APEX tournament player, but she is ultimately the weakest player on the team and is there to listen to the instructions of a serial winner in Kurumi Noah.

Selen is in a completely different boat. She was the leader of her RIG Cup team with Bobon and Hada despite having neither leadership nor tournament experience (and she still managed to get them a win in scrims and a couple wins in the tournament). Her lack of Japanese proficiency also makes her a very dodgy option unless she can be on a team with just English-speakers. She's nowhere near as versatile an option.

But Selen doesn't really have any antis outside of /vt/ so it'll probably be fine. The person who really needs to do well in order to middle finger her antis is Aqua.

Ollie showing off another merch idea.

^This. She's not the one leading/carrying the team. It's Noah.

It's laughable to even consider this notion:story:

I can praise Reimu for being able to keep with her clearly experienced teammates like Suisei but that's it.

Wish the stream would've been longer so I had more to work with. Now to wait another 4 months for her to play Overwatch again.

Damn, that's fucking dire. He should un-mod everyone and get new people.

Oh excellent a sequel, the first is a classic.

Given that she mentioned playing with Yuri again and then with Ginger and well not in the books Lumi has Overwatch experience the hopes for a part 3 are at an all time high.
