2) We haven't conquered scarcity. Just because we can theoretically grow enough rice to feed the world doesn't mean we can do it for free. The farmers need GMO seeds, farm equipment, fertilizer, laborers, and land. None of those things are unlimited and don't grow on trees. Then we get into logistics of preserving and moving that rice into areas where starvation is a problem and it gets even more expensive and problematic due to little infrastructure to move goods in bulk and corrupt local governments that will most likely hoard or sell it.
3) The countries the US mess with aren't bastions of liberalism. They are resources rich countries in strategic locations with a dictatorship for a government at best. Sorry that they are casualties in the great game but that doesn't explain why young single adult men are going to Sweden, Germany, France in mass instead of staying and trying to fix their country (kinda like what Ukrainian men are doing.)
