Critical race theory references among reasons Florida rejects almost half of math textbooks for next school year

The Florida Department of Education is rejecting just under half the math textbooks submitted for inclusion in the next school year's curriculum, CBS Miami reports.

Reasons for rejecting the books include references to "critical race theory" and inclusions of common core.

The department found that 41 percent of the books submitted violated its standards. That's the most in the state's history.

Books submitted for grades K through 5 saw the highest number of rejections, at 71 percent.

According to a news release from the department entitled "Florida Rejects Publishers' Attempts to Indoctrinate Students," officials are "initially not including 54 of the 132" submitted textbooks.

Those questions are fucking egregious, not only because it's needlessly injecting race politics and history into math tests, but because any student who dislikes math can spend 5 minutes skimming Maya Angelou's wikipedia page and finish their homework, never learning anything.

This bullshit is why the chinks and pajeets are eating our lunch when it comes to STEM scores.

Public school should be abolished while we are at it. The whole thing is a mess that only serves as a ponzi scheme to enrich teacher's unions and woke shit. The only way to fix it is to tear the whole thing down and start it again.

Wondering how it is possible to have CRT in a math class? Wonder no more:

Note that this "math" assignment can be completed without solving a single math problem.

How many white rape loving colonizers does it take to equal 10 +10?

Answer: Give black people more money.
I may just have an negative assumption about everyone, but the Supe's response smacks of "sorry we got caught".
100% - Nigga be like “Uuughhhh, I have to do my job? Ugh. Uuhhhhhhgggg. But I’m an educator and therefore should not have to work. So sick of dealing parents and angry media just because my teachers keep asking me to do my job.”

Common core, where it takes you 23 steps to determine 2+2 = pi
This isn't even common core. Common core is a lame ass attempt to canonize all the math shortcuts most people can figure out on their own.
This is "you don't even have to do or understand math to pass a math test. You just need to be able to recite some Cathedral-approved trivia."

You know these journoscum pieces of worthless garbage actually buy this shit because it doesn't even cross their minds how retarded it is that math textbooks are filled to the brim with worthless non-math subject matter.

They genuinely believe this is some sort of "gotcha" against Republican's rather than a huge point in their favor. Fucking clown world.

Years ago I had a former friend of mine who worked on creating up-to-date, digital textbooks when that was a novel concept. I asked her why, as I had recently heard, a textbook for kids had an example inside (otherwise unrelated to the material) encouraging children to "share the wealth." She shrugged and said I was making too much of it. But she was kind of a shitlib.

Nah, it would become corrupt again instantly. All the "social infrastructure" would still exist and would kick right back in. Hell, even if everyone involved disappeared, it would be just as corrupt in a few years.

Homeschool your kids, or be a relentless guard dog about what your kids are learning. There's no other way.

That worksheet is fucking horrible. Part of showing you know how to do math, is to perform the steps to get an answer. Even if you don't remember the trivia, making it multiple choice lets you just plug shit in and see if it works. If my classes were like that growing up, I'd have been celebrated as a child genius.
