General GunTuber thread

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.
Personally I blame video games and movies. I know that's a totally overused argument but the idea of "the arena" is pretty ingrained in most people's thought processes whether they realize it or not.

Well depending on the city even streets and highways can be very crowded and as a result feel very small. Think about Time's Square, it's a huge open area with sight lines over 1,000 yards long, but try telling that to the guy walking down that crowded sidewalk or standing in the street during the New Year's ball drop, shit seems tiny. But, get everyone off the streets and you start to realize just how big and unassailable the place really is.

Edited to add an extra thought: This is something that's probably far more applicable to the majority of American cities than European cities though too since we tend to build in a grid rather than whatever the fuck the thought process behind Euro cities is. But even then the more modern and renovated parts of Euro cities are also very open.

And it isn't just that either, the dude is just downright whiny about everything.

Edited again since I just saw this too:

GT weighs in as well on the urban combat and survival subject.

If I remember correctly, in Iraq in cities, the average engagement range is 200m. As it goes for urban combat, Iraq is going to be pretty much the gold standard of in close fighting.
With modern weapons, 200m is very close, but definitely not this cqb John wick shit most people imagine.
It's funny that people get so worked up over media being a bad influence on people, but it's 100% true, most people only know about guns and combat through movies and there aren't any movies that are even accurate in that regard... that Orlando Bloom afghan fob movie is the only one that really comes close to having some realism to it.

Instead of trying to survive in a city you could always move to the country where the towns are 100% White and you won't have to worry about gunning down hordes of niggers and spics. If you don't have arty/air support fighting in cities is fucking suicide. Why clear a five-story building room by room when you can call in a JDAM and level the building killing the fuckers inside?

I don't call him Karl the Koon-loving, Kock-sucking Kommie Kretin for nothing.

Karl is a retarded sack of weasel shit.
Yay you made it!

Has this douche even ever deployed? The only "break" he's ever taken from youtube is when he went off for officer school. He apperantly goes on training exercises all the time but no one seems to mind him going off for a few hours with his cameraman to record for his channel during those exercises.

most of his career in the military was as a SERE instructor and I dont think there's much demand for TACPs now that we pulled out of Afghanistan so

In case we get any new visitors who miss the greatest hits:

Karl's girlfriend's boyfriend.

Karl's audience is very similar to The Yankee Marshal's. He Panders to the modern right wing framework while keeping it lowkey that he's actually a homosexual with a husband and supports antifa.

The Yankee Marshal going to CHAZ and almost getting attacked while trying to say it was safe will never not be funny to me.

Karl is proof that sidekicks are nothing without the main hero.
Arthur without the Tick = Accountant in tights
Robin without Batman = James Reeves of TFB with less shill
Karl without Ian = 50 year old angry divorcee. Average as fuck

Look at 9 Hole Reviews channel. Four types of content have historically done poorly for them.

Close Range Practical Accuracy. No one cares.
Japanese Gun Porn. No actual Japanese porn.
Iceland. WTF.
Finally, Pick one non-shooting collaborations. No one cares, again.

Of the Pick one videos, Karl's is the least viewed while Ian's is the most viewed. Karl, you are a sidekick. You exist because Ian exists.
