When keeping it real goes wrong. Assuming he actually is dead/locked in a Ukrainian guantanamo bay, I really can't feel bad for him. He had so many opportunities to just cut his losses and leave before this happened but I really think he never thought it would be him that would be shipped off to Auschwitz 2022: slavic edition. Silly Chilean.

Well duh, he should have gotten his ass out of there as soon as invasion talk began, which was by mid February. South American countries have a long and distinguished history of exactly these types of brutal wars, along with insurgencies that last for decades. Chile and Argentina were not known for playing nice with their commie brethren and would disappear people on the mere suspicion of having lefty thoughts. Why he thought Ukraine would be kinder and gentler is beyond my comprehension.

Contrast him with Patrick Lancaster who makes no secret of his pro-Russian sympathies but has the good sense to work out of the DPR and get recognized as a journalist.

Also, does it look like his neck been cut? Looks to deep to be neck fat folding over and there appears to be a tube stuck inside.
