TL;DR: Became Internet Famous during GamerGate. Gained a large following during the hayday of 'Internet Bloodsports'. Is the least retarded of those groups and by virtue of not having totally humiliated himself has had a long career as a sort of commentator. He is very good at dealing with people in live, one-on-one conversations. Many of his memorable moments come from quick thinking while dealing with less intelligent people. Is currently suffering from an illness that may be cancer.

TL;DR: Attended the 'Unite the Right' rally at 17 and very quickly rose to prominence during the 2016 election as a pro-Trump political entity representing 'God and Country'. Maligned by media for making references to holocaust denial. Currently calls himself an incel but claims to be celibate waiting for marriage. Attended the 'Stop the Steal' rally at the Capital and has endured hardships at the hands of the government since. Rumored to be gay due to his sexless personality and his IRL friendship with a streamer named Lolisocks/CatBoyKami. High profile political streamer at the top of 'America First' with thousands of followers that the media seems to take seriously.
Nick has made friends Ethan Ralph / The Gunt and now accommodates his show on a self-hosted streaming platform called Cozy TV. Ralph is an absolute degenerate trainwreck and it's hard to figure out how he keeps making new alliances to promote him and his dead gay podcast. Ralph recently DMCA struck several channels restreaming him to make fun of him. Ralph has also been making fun of Jim's health for weeks. People expected Nick to disapprove of this, but came out swinging in Ralph's defense, saying that there are no rules because "we are at war".
Jim criticized this clip. This started a chain reaction of back-and-forth messages culminating in a date arranged to discuss things.
On Friday at 9pm EST, some random guy on Nick's platform is (probably) going to host a 'debate' between them. Invited is every single retard from Nick's political circles, Ralph's friends, and anyone who would want to take a swing at Nick. They will all join a gigantic Google Hangout and yell at each other like animals.
