I could see this disappearing if the optics get bad enough. For instance, imagine his headless, raped corpse is found, and then his bodiless, raped head a mile away, and there's printouts from The Daily Beast article. And they seriously may have been the ones to trigger interest in him, although I'd think just the RT shit would have put him on their radar.

He moved to Ukraine long before the war because it was dirt cheap and his wife was from there. He refused to even learn the language. It was just opportunism that made him stay when the war broke out. He did it for internet clout, not some virtuous principle.
