This is something that I think hits a few of them like a ton of bricks. Won't speak for many here but I've had the genuine displeasure of knowing a few FTMs and holy shit do they not take actual "male" treatment that well. They expect to be an uwu soft boi or what have you only to get faced by a very bitter and lonely reality.

All while they're very non-passing, in a lot of pain due to their body being mauled, and now realizing it was all for naught. They don't actually get any less insufferable while they're having the realization.

What seems to be a basic component of being trans that makes it logical in their brains to beg for money on the Internet instead of getting a job? I mean, could you imagine if that type of thinking became the norm? Society would literally collapse within weeks. I know I personally would have to be in such a crazy, life or death, once or twice in a life time situation to embrace the shame of soliciting handouts from strangers on the Internet. I know most of my friends, family, coworkers, almost everyone I've ever met, would say the same thing. Yet, without exaggeration, it appears to be just another day at the office for the vast majority of these people. I'll genuinely never understand it. It's so embarrassing and really says most of what you need to know about trans people.
