Part of me assumes this is a lie because who would want to see those scars? Scars aren't pretty exactly and why would you ask at a gathering? Something you'd handle in private if you really wanted to see that. You have to imagine a bunch of kids in college, crowded in a livingroom, listening to Imagine Dragons or something equally insufferable, using all their $10 words, either drinking wine and trying to be sophisticated or drinking IPAs and trying to get someone into bed, all trying to passive-aggressively out-do one another in a contest of being the most casually radical, the most subversive regarding gender, the very best at parroting talking points on all the "important" issues while also being edgy. In clown world someone who is non binary can align more towards either gender (trans femme etc) or a lot of the time decide to stay in the middle entirely. She knows there’s non binary people that don’t identify strongly with either end of the binary.

Is anybody even giving her the attention she wants though? Her parents still treat her like being trans is just a funny phase and laugh at her antics while trying to be supportive but without engaging that much. She had to make up some "sexual assault" scenario to pretend her parents are awful and she's a victim of their oppression and it was such a non-issue that the whole deal wasn't more than a tweet. It's like those people claiming they have a little bit of asthma or a bit of diabetes. No, you don't have a "little bit" of a disease, you have a disease with mild or controlled symptoms. It's not the same.

Being asexual is not having a little bit of sexual drive: it's not having any sexual drive at all. But for these people, it's not having sex or not having a relationship. I suppose it's their way to justify the fact that they can't find a partner or, if they have one, that they aren't attracted to each other because their relationship is pure cope and pretending. All scissoring in the world with some "non-binary" isn't gonna change the fact that Milo craves dick.

Yes, I've seen people saying similar things and it's a bit dangerous for my taste. The idea is that sexuality is defined by you are you attracted to and that's misleading because you can feel platonic attraction to anyone. Sexuality is defined by having a sexual desire by someone; sexual orientation is defined by which sex you feel sexual desires for.

Activists and academics are creating "queer" people with these insanity: you like being close to someone of your same sex? You're gay. You don't want sex with them? Then you're asexual!"
