I just want to mention that I love everyone in this thread, even our more retarded/prolific posters but I repeat myself the same way I love DSP, Ethan Ralph and Chris. Inshallah.
I love you too, in a sexual way

This would be so insanely retarded.

A retreat of 40,000 men and an untold amount of APCs, IFVs, tanks and trucks without any air superiority and within range of artillery. They'd have to leave dozens if not hundreds of pieces of equipment behind and hundreds more would be destroyed in the retreat.
I don't know if this is the same area, but...

Ukraine's president designated words shitting towards my country - check.
Neo-nazis - check (say hello to "azov" which some of you joebros clearly don't wan't to acknowledge they exist).
tensions between ukies and rogue regions intensified prior invasion - check.

No I don't think there is that much of fake pretext, it's just not everything that is actual was said out loud.
Saying words is not reason to invade. If that's the case, China should be blown to smithereens (Russia too) for threatening nukes left and right.

Neither are nazi LARPers. Plus none of them openly endorse Ben Shapiro on Twitter. Isn't that a requirement for neo-nazis? Are they 'true' neo-nazis? Kinda sus.

Ukraine's political struggle is not a reason to blitzkrieg a fucking country my dude. Even more so that Putin fueled these conflicts. USA is not in the right for interfering in middle east, but they did not randomly blitzkrieged over night and threatened to nuke anyone who intervenes. You must have a 'really' basic understanding of this conflict.

My opinion of you has not changed.

Well, doing what you preach is apparently too much to ask for you :story:

You said that US is going to shitter because of globohomo and nigger worship - not me.
You said that Russia is powerful, because they sit on natural resureces and farmland -not me.

So, why won't act like you believe in any of this?
Russia and the United States should be allies, not enemies. They have much in common as we too have vast resources, like Russia, and we have common interests and goals.

You see Elbereth, America must do what's best for America, not a bunch of greedy neocon jews in the State Department. Russia must do what is in its best interest. Ukraine is not acting in the best interest of the Ukrainian state and its people by provoking a war with Russia, as war is only in the best interest of the aforementioned neocons and their financial partners in the MIC. This war is a failure of politics and diplomacy, and can be directly ascribed to interference by outside actors and instigators, using Ukraine as a catalyst.

Europe is historically susceptible to disputes which erupt into all out war, with disastrous results for its citizens. The US was founded on the principle we should not become involved in, and pay for, foreign wars and disputes, yet out government has done precisely that several times with mixed results. We have bailed Europe out of two world wars, and a third is out of the question.

Had we pursued a policy of cooperation with Russia and limited our involvement to mediating disputes in an impartial manner, and not favored an out of control greedy cabal of international financiers and neocons whose interests benefit from maintaining ongoing conflicts, the world would be a safer and more prosperous place. As it is, you seem too enamored by the shiny new iPhone, the latest Nikes or silly content on Facebook to grasp these concepts. A consoomer, you are.

Best of luck to you and Poland. You will need it.

I'm fairly certain that's Kremmina. More specifically the C-130514 bridge. There's no pedestrian pictures available but the vegetation and pedestrian walkways seem to be the same.

Edit: On second thought, that bridge is too straight, so it may be this one.

live and learn I guess
These videos were first posted 10 hours ago as Ukrainian TDF attempting to defuse landmines. These are obviously not Russians by the fact that they have their phones and aren't in Russian/separatist garb or have white/red bands. Not to mention that nobody but the Chechens uses those types of 4x4s and they clearly are not Chechen.

“We have an update about @NewScottRitter,” the email from Twitter Support announced, providing me with the case number. “We investigated the reported account,” the email read, “and determined it is not in violation of Twitter’s misleading and deceptive identities policy.”

My jaw literally hit the floor.

“In order for an account to be in violation of the policy,” the email continued, “it must portray another person or business in a misleading or deceptive matter. For more information, please make sure to read and understand our full policy.”

SCOTT RITTER: Twitter Wars—My Personal Experience in Twitter’s Ongoing Assault on Free Speech

So, for context, this is what happened. Scott Ritter got suspended on Twitter. He appealed the suspension, got reinstated. Then he got suspended again (this time he was not reinstated). Then another Twitter user (one who I suspect glows in the dark) created a "New Scott Ritter" account to post disinformation. Ritter then went to Twitter to try to get the fake account removed, and as of the writing of this article, Twitter has refused to do so.

Except that Russia has shown a lot of interest in war since 2014, considering that Russia provoked it and started it.

A hundred-year veteran of the Great Patriotic War, Mikhail Grigoryevich Sukach, who lives in Melitopol, is looking forward to May 9, since in recent years, Ukrainian nationalists have banned celebrating Victory Day.

Gross national product means this is how much given country produced that year. If GDP falls by 1/3, it means that economy produced 1/3 less. Or it means that rubel is worth less by 1/3. In 2013 you could buy 33 rubels for 1 USD. In 2015 1 dollar buys you 66 rubels. So it is exactly the oposite of what you said.

And you are measuring in US Dollars. Of course GDP measured in US dollars will fall because the US banned trading in Russia. This doesn't impact the average Russian in the slightest.

PPP is taking same basket of goods from different countries and comparing it. The biggest component of that basket is food. So yeah, Russia as the big food produced didnt face huge food price increases.
However, what has much lower weights in that basket are things like electornics: smartphones, laptops, tvs and more, car and car parts, forein travels or medicine. All of those are what many would consider, sign of wealth.

OK... cool. Now do your analysis again in PPP and report back your findings.

Oh my fucking God, do you really think that GDP of Russia falls by 1/3, because "US banned trading in Russia"? :story:

When the USA blitzkrieged Iraq, Russia didn't try to organize global sanctions on us, arm and support the Hussein regime, or have any high-ranking officials call for Pres Bush's assassination.

I have spent the last few days casually reading through this whole thread. Here is what my burger brain learned.
  • The Information age was a mistake. We as people are incapable of being good stewards of what we hear and what we spit out of our mouths.
  • Redditors are literal bugmen. I already knew this but they always somehow manage to raise the bar.
  • Geopolitics has devolved into hissy fits and boomers who are too senile to remember the cold war ended
  • The entire planet has a hate-boner for people they don't even know and refuses the idea that another perspective could possibly exist.
  • And finally, when this somehow escalates to nuclear war because of all our leaders idiocy I will be one of the first people glassed because of my proximity to this base in Florida
