The online alt-right movement kind of grew out of the gamergate thing and that in part blew up because of Jim's videos. I'm starting to think it's entirely possible the entire comeback was some kind of master troll to have one last big blow off and collapse the entire movement for lulz.

Even if it wasn't, Jim's content birthing all these alt-right shitlords and then returning after two-years and making the biggest ones have meltdowns by pointing and laughing is absolute poetry. It's like a movie script. You can almost point out the three act structure.

If there's one thing Jim never stands for, it's bullshitting the audience and lying to them. These grifter niggers truly believed the alt-right was their next ticket after gamergate and it's all imploding on them. They barely believe anything they're selling, it's almost worse than a car salesman, at least you can see what you're buying while the guy hassles you.

It will never cease to amaze me how this cycle of self-immolation always repeats itself. I know very little about the whole AF schtick, but I did watch the Groyper vs Turning Point debacle and thought that was some funny shit, but as always, they needed to "legitimize" themselves for some grander calling or refuse to laugh at themselves. Nick has to realize a good chunk of his fans are going to be Metokur fans, it's just a reality of existing in this space on the internet. This quite literally in 99/100 scenarios will only hurt him, the only possible win he can pull out of this is if Metokur for some reason spergs out and acts contradictory to how he's ever acted in the past, or dies on stream maybe.

It's that these people either didn't truly believe in this stuff in the first place, or were just using the hot topic to further their own brand. I'm not afraid to say I agree with Fuentes on a lot of things politically, but his behavior and online demeanor does nothing good to promote those causes. It's why Jim even went on stream with him cordially in the past, he seemed like he knew what he was talking about and he knew to have a laugh. Those days are long gone and Fuentes has shown he's just another thin-skinned grifter.

Oh sure, I'm with you on that. I wouldn't even be against Nick's position on flagging/swatting/etc. if it was purely a stance of tit-for-tat. Dying on a moral high ground is gay as fuck and people who do these things should absolutely be prepared to have them returned in kind, but taking the extra step and saying simply laughing at your stupid shit is equivalent to trying to destroy your livelihood is such a braindead take. It's just funny seeing these types consistently court a specific audience and then get upset when they find out they aren't immune from being made fun of.

It's the same reason I have some level of respect (maybe not the right word, acknowledgement maybe?) for people like Flamenco, Warski, PPP, etc. They may be gigantic faggots and sperg out, but they don't have any delusions about who their audience is nor do they seem to believe themselves above it all. In my opinion at least.
