Cartoonist being weirdos is hardly surprising.

What i always found most peculiar is how all these american show creators all seem to come from the same school or couple schools,, are dating each other, relating each other or are friends with each other, they are never more than a few links from each other. Nepotism seems pretty rampant, specially when they are making garbage and is hard to understand why they keep getting it greenlighted that it becomes very obvious.

So, what are the chances that these cartoons have had their animation outsourced for a lot of it? If it's very likely, then it's pretty hypocritical for these types to go on about wages when Kim Lee Chung is working for less than $3 an hour over in South Korean sweatshops.

the saddest part is that those koreans are 100x more skilled in every possible way than the rich american kids who develop the show. They have to waste their efforts animating the bad tumblr ocs.

You're thinking of Go Nagai, who at the very least has never pretended he wasn't a giant deviant. Tezuka made Astro Boy, which features far too many images of robot oil going up Astro's robot boy butt.
