The question is: would Twitter really suffer if the coomers all left? It's not like Tumblr where that was literally the only value it had. So would removing porn actually make the site worse for the average user? I'm guessing not.

1. The left hates Elon Musk, partially because he's a billionaire and partially because he is right-wing, or at least libertarian. There are plenty of valid reasons for hating Musk, but the main reason they don't like him is because the people who do like him tend to be their enemies. Twitter is generally their site of choice, especially since Tumblr died and Reddit still has the (largely unearned) reputation for being a "hub of nazi incels". This decision means they either have to be okay with supporting Musk financially or stop using Twitter. They're being forced to put their money where their mouth is.

2. Elon Musk owning Twitter most likely means he will make the site friendlier for the right and less of a progressive hugbox. Trump and Tucker Carlson having their accounts reinstated, for example. This pisses them off for obvious reasons.

That's the main reason I've held off from making a thread, they're more just annoying than anything else. I would say the proof is incontrovertible. Reddit, Twitter, and Instagram all allow, at least nudes. And then artwork of gore, guro, and loli. Everything they host practically skirts international laws.

The likely outcome is for some kind of federally planned widespread chimpout in response to any kind of attempt to make the platform neutral as opposed to one that gives preferential tratment to letists/niggers/troons. The left cannot ever concede ground or compromise and are going to force this to be another issue of racism or faggot rights.
