I still can't grasp this mindset these people have, "in order to protect democracy where everyone speaks via vote we need to censor and moderate people's speech in order to protect democracy".

Like what fucking point can they not see the rules they want to put on certain people will be adapted to, used and connived until the people they don't want to hear from get into power. And then rules these people implemented used against them, and they will be like "how could this ever happen to me?!"
