Y’know, I don’t actually think transactivists really care about trans prisoners. Most of them are far leftists, so it follows that they’d want them out of prison ASAP. As far as their ideology is concerned, allowing the prison system to provide them luxuries like HRT (which they consider an essential, not a luxury, but whatever) only makes the prisoners more comfortable in their imprisonment and strengthens the prison-industrial complex.

Just a hunch, but I would assume that the only reason most trans activists want this to happen so bad is because it allows them to say “There are people in prison who have it better than me. Now give me my free tiddy pills!” Chelsea Manning also comes to mind in this regard.

It's the woke twitter law of transition. Being immunocompromised is a disability, therefore COVID (and every other disease) affects disabled people more, therefore disabled people are super duper in danger. The fact that 99% of the "disabled" people on twitter fundraising are not immunocompromised is irrelevant. It's all processed down into the idpol war, and that requires operating on the standard "ism" categories (in this case, ableism) for them to use it.

The disabled people/troon overlap is always fascinating to me, since when you look below the surface, current trans orthodoxy has some of the most ableist messaging you can imagine.

Hormone treatment and surgery for young trans people are urgently necessary and lifesaving!! In other words, if a trans person who wants to medically transition happens to be unable to tolerate hormones and surgery, that person's life situation is so dire and hopeless that their only option is suicide. Only those who are healthy enough to undergo long sequences of complex surgeries, coupled with permanent hormone treatments, will ever have a chance at a full, happy life. A great message to send out to the disabled!

To be fair there is practical utility to having a phone active even if you are dirt poor or housing unstable, but in that case you'd probably go with a super cheap prepaid plan for emergency contacts or applying for jobs or gigs. But these fucks arent just trying to "get by", theyre trying to maintain a upper middle class standard of living off the charity of people likely poorer than they are.

At the end of the day i'd rather give $20 to a homeless person panhandling at an intersection than any of these peoples gofundmes. A better investment, frankly.

Obviously not who you asked and he/she/anyone else should feel free to respond, too, of course, but I used to identify as "non-binary" and was lost in the TRA sauce for years, so I have some thoughts. Someone who identifies as "non-binary" (or the cringe phonetic spelling "enby") is said to not identify with what they view as the societal gender binary of man and woman. There are three main issues that I've identified with this ideology, in my experience:

1. It's sexist: the concept that one cannot be a man or woman and engage in traditionally feminine or masculine things, respectively, is sexist. It's similar to the logic that TiM/Fs and TRAs use, only less committal than the former. "I'm AFAB/AMAB (even though my sex was fully developed before I was born), but I don't like [insert hyper masculine/hyperfeminine stereotype here]. I don't want to transition, but I want the asspats for being queer anyways." Where faced with the same situation, a man or woman might have an opportunity- conscious or otherwise- to liberate their brothers and sisters from harmful stereotypes, the non binary ideologue reinforces them.

2. The third gender: Many non-binary ideologues claim to be such out of a secondary desire to destroy the current gender binary in western society. Unfortunately for them they are failing in several ways. The first is what has been observed as the creation of a "third gender". Many non-binary identified people view gender as a "spectrum", however, if you have ever witnessed statistically significant amounts of NB identified individuals, you will begin to notice patterns in appearance and behavior (we all know the ones). Gender (NOT biological sex), consists of the same elements. This has led some to believe that, rather than NB individuals comprising random points on a spectrum, there has instead been the creation of the third gender, "enby", to accommodate those who do not wish to identify as man or woman.

3. It reinforces the gender binary: finally, the second way in which non-binary ideologues are failing to destroy the gender binary and my final issue with non-binary ideology is the fact that by identifying as non binary one is necessarily and inherently reinforcing the gender binary itself. I'll use an example to illustrate my point: let's say there is a man who likes to engage in traditionally feminine activities or appearance, so he decides to identify as non-binary: "I like to paint my nails, but men don't paint their nails, so I must not be a man." In doing so, he is implicitly and irrevocably reinforcing the gender binary (male=masculine, female=feminine) that queer gender ideology is so strongly against. This is the most ironic failure of nonbinarism.

When you look at the non binary community even for a moment, as a person who isn't brainwashed by wokeness, it does indeed look ridiculous. And they'll claim things like "anyone could be NB!" and deny that the vast majority of people claiming to be such are teenage girls and young women with short dyed haircuts, septum rings and a tendency to believe they're omgsoquirky!!! for liking frogs and mushrooms, calling themselves a trash goblin and posting humourless ironic memes. And if it's not someone who fits that exact profile, they're at least almost exclusively young and politically on the far left. So they're claiming what amounts to basically a fashion trend or subculture taken way too far is a legit oppressed class that needs protection under the law.


I also came dangerously close to falling for the gender cult as a teenager on Tumblr, but got out and realised how incoherent and ultimately harmful this all is before any real damage could be done.
