General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Somewhat off topic, but Overwatch 2 just seems like a bunch of weird changes nobody really wanted, half of which are trying to fix the fact that just shooting at tanks who refuse to die isn't very fun. 6v6 going to 5v5 is just a headscratcher, I guess they wanted to just flat out remove a tank from role queue, but I feel like they've had long enough to rework a bunch of the tanks to be more fun to play against instead of just cutting one player. Orisa is a good rework because she now has to go in to get shit done instead of just parking behind double shields and shooting. The new UI fucking blows and has no soul at all, the visual upgrade looks pretty good for the maps, but the character re-designs are just there because they had to change something, plus the system requirements Blizzard put out for 60fps on medium are fucking hilarious. And I don't know who's fucking retarded enough to pay 60$ for a singleplayer campaign that's probably like 5 hours and worth one playthrough, and a visual upgrade, since you get everything else if you just own Overwatch 1.

In the case of XIV, the game doesn't really keep track of who you're married to. Usually anyone spending $40 to marry their e-girl is going to be pretty invested in the relationship, so the players enjoy simulating the fun of real-life divorces by bringing over the same level of drama into the game. (At least there are no children to fight over.)

I have played a Chinese game which did keep track, but in that game, the marriage gave you bonuses, so you never formally broke it off unless you had a new marriage already set up. It even made you pay a NPC to force the divorce unilaterally! Such realism!

With how immensely gay the FFXIV community is, they probably argue over who gets to inherit the rights to the 18+ RP Catboy Cafe they built together.

Still less stupid that his OW1 beta version, blizzard thought it would be funny to give him a shield while in minigun mode and required shitload of firepower to yeet 1

edit: she is now complaining that they changed the sounds so things like Tracer gun sounds totally different now

Well unless she wants to write a book about it or something, Hololive and similar companies are very weird when you think about it (especially for the Western audience), more than Vtubing by itself. It might inspire all sorts of more and less fictional depictions as people get more aware of it, you already have articles that went pretty deep into the drama stuff. I can see the likes of Netflix making a shitty show out of it, naturally about the horror scenario with mandatory feminist (((message))) shoved right into your face but the most dangerous here is the increased attention from all sorts of media about the real thing that might follow, attempts at interviews and sniffing behind the scenes. There is some genuine risk that someone might use it to paint themselves as a victim Anita Sarkeesian style since 4chan is involved.


Calli was weirdly affected by the whole Rushia termination thing saying it made her feel disgusted and whatnot even if they collabed like two times. Anyway getting all lovely dovely with AO could make her irl simps/orbiters drop her now that she's taken, not like it's something unique to idol fans -it's a male thing (for females it's often the opposite and they get more interested in men that other women like).
Not to say I actually believe in this revelations... Calli did mention something about feeling more happy for the last 8 months or so back in January ( I don't think she specified what actually made her happier) but as we know it didn't last and soon after she had this whole prolonged meltdown started by one akasupa telling her to keep away from conur. Apparently one of the reasons it got her so bad was that she pushed herself to work on that animation for Tophat that she started to hate, from what I remember nobody at the time thought they're super close and now she's shilling her own solo stuff performing at cons.
Perhaps they actually were together for a while but it didn't worked out in the end, or Mama Reaper is just a boomer and had no idea about the somewhat complicated nature of relation between this two, I doubt Calli told her about getting cucked and all that but certainly showed his pictures etc.

Mumei and Fauna are still with their BFs and Cover did not drop their contract. The situation with RushiNeko was that she disclose something to the JP Keemstar Korekore dude result in her breaking NDA and was fired.

Calli misunderstood the whole Rushia fiasco and throw a fits, which means that RushiNeko did dating that Mafumafu dude.
