If I were a Dem strategist I'd be shitting a brick right now. If you give Biden a +5 boost across the board and use that for electoral vote predictions, then CO, CT, MN, NJ, NM, OR, VA all become battleground states. The 2020 D flips are out of reach even with the same level of "fortification". That's a very naive prediction, of course, since it doesn't take into account who the R nominee will be (if it's Trump, this will be much harder to predict), and 2.5 years is a long time in electoral politics. But this is an extremely bad starting position that forces the Democrats to expend resources on states that were previously considered safe.

Agree. Maybe in the bughives and college towns like Peoria, Blo/No, Champaign/Urbana, and Springfield, though. But, then again, they've been the problem areas all along...

Don't go getting too excited about a red wave.

Thing's are always closer then the pundits will predict. While it's true that the child sniffer in chief is deeply unpopular that doesn't always translate into an easy victory.

The DNC still has alot of cultural pull thru the institutions they've infiltrated and the elites will probably crack open their pocketbooks at the threat of another Trump Presidency so dont go counting your chickens just yet.

Alot can go wrong in 6 months, let alone 2 years.

We shouldn't let our guard down. But I don't think Soros is gonna crack his wallet open to get the DNC over the hill this time. They expended too much good will in 2020 to win. They keep digging themselves deeper and deeper into unlikability.

The fact Elon Musk can round up 44 billion to buy Twitter and the Left is either complicit because they need the money from the purchase or unable to unwilling to stop him should say plenty.

Unable. That money gets split to shareholders first so the actual payout would be absolutely non-existent to the left. And twitter is fucking vital tot he left, so unwilling is also a definite no.
