I didn't pick it up through telephone. I saw the video she made firsthand. I don't use tiktok and it can be hard to parse what people mean when they post their videos. Since she was claiming many of the things that were listed I thought she was claiming to have it. As I recall when that post went live most people were under the impression that she was claiming that. I don't read every post on this thread and never saw anyone saying that she wasn't claiming to have it until now.

Tiktok is a shitty medium for disseminating information.

If she wasn't claiming Kuru then I take it back. Claiming her identical twin had different DNA is almost as funny.

If you watch the video, you'll see that she never claims to have the diseases she lists. It's a rare disease day shoutout video. It's funny enough already that she wanted to do a tiktok dance to her audience of a few dozen (most of whom are probably only there to point and laugh) to raise awareness for kuru, Morgellon's, and Steven Johnson syndrome.

Sometimes munchies are right about something (or at least aren't claiming to have kuru). Sometimes kiwis misunderstand a really vague video. It isn't "white knighting" to correct misinformation. A lot of people on this thread who do the deep dive posts probably are really proud of making a case based on first-hand evidence and factually correct information. When you let misinformation spread, especially to the point that it becomes fact, it discredits the work those people do.

Also, this. Their real antics are funny enough without us helping them out.

This drives me nuts because you KNOW it was just a frustrated nurse. When scripts are called in late it's a whole ordeal with paperwork and waiting for the actual meds that inconveniences the patient too. Absolutely sure the nurse wasn't angry or mean TO Victoria, but being a narc everything is about her and emotions from others in her presence are unacceptable and personal attacks. I literally can't imagine thinking every overworked, mildly irritated nurse out there is a personal crisis. The shit I've heard that they have to deal with is a nightmare... Oh hey, shit like Vic.

It's used off label for other autoimmune disorders, too.

It's also expensive, since it is a monoclonal antibody.

Sorry to abruptly change the topic. I started a thread on Jaye/NJ and Elias (best known for abusing dogs and being semi-popular on munchie subreddits), it's currently stuck in Prospering Grounds because it was not my best work.
