Specifically, it was amended to exclude child pornography from protection under the Act. If you know it's going on and you do nothing while profiting from it, you are liable. They sell ads on all these subreddits, and pornographic subreddits are among their most profitable.

(1)
Any civil action filed under subsection (a) shall be stayed during the pendency of any criminal action arising out of the same occurrence in which the claimant is the victim.
(2)
In this subsection, a “criminal action” includes investigation and prosecution and is pending until final adjudication in the trial court.
(c)No action may be maintained under subsection (a) unless it is commenced not later than the later of—
(1)
10 years after the cause of action arose; or
(2)
10 years after the victim reaches 18 years of age, if the victim was a minor at the time of the alleged offense.
(d)
In any case in which the attorney general of a State has reason to believe that an interest of the residents of that State has been or is threatened or adversely affected by any person who violates section 1591, the attorney general of the State, as parens patriae, may bring a civil action against such person on behalf of the residents of the State in an appropriate district court of the United States to obtain appropriate relief.

Porn subs are ad free, but they still collect user data while raising investor funds based on user numbers/screen time, not to mention the fact that any user brought to the site by porn will inevitably check out other parts of it. PLUS they make third party apps share some of the money they make (I believe), and the third party apps have ads.

However one cuts it, reddit absolutely profits from child pornography. And every admin knows it.

I've got a theory: While the incel side of things is about Men who can't have a normal relationship, due to mental illness, narcissism, and loserdom. FDS and similar Radfem sites I believe came largely from Women repeatedly getting into abusive relationships or illegal prostitution resulting in abuse.

Having a vagina does not mean you can not, what's it, be unable to "have a normal relationship, due to mental illness, narcissism, and loserdom".

Great points. I agree 100%. If I had to guess, part of the reason incels and femcels are different is also due to the completley opposite experiences men and women will have in dating or sexual relationships.

I rememeber a video of a woman who pretended to be a man for several months as a psychological experiment and she said it nearly broke her. She then wrote a book about it. (Nora Vincent: Self Made Man.)

In other words, biology is still a thing.

Toronto man charged with making child pornography ran Reddit porn community​

Richard Burdett, 55, has been charged with child luring, making child pornography, possessing child pornography, accessing child pornography and making available child pornography, Toronto police say.

A Toronto man facing charges including child luring and making child pornography ran a Reddit community where he shared scripted audio pornography, some of which appeared to include content about minors and school students.

According to a Thursday news release from Toronto police, Richard Burdett, 55, was using the usernames “fstopvox” and “F_Stop_Fitzgerald” on various social media platforms. Those names appear to refer to accounts on Reddit, Twitter and Snapchat.

The Toronto Police Service Child Exploitation Team executed a search warrant on April 20, after which Burdett was charged with child luring, making child pornography, possessing child pornography, accessing child pornography and making available child pornography, according to the release.

A Reddit community with more than 5,000 members started in 2017 by the user f_stop_Fitzgerald was taken down Thursday evening soon after Toronto police announced Burdett’s arrest.

The group’s description called it a “repository for all my recordings.”

The community contained several posts described as containing recordings of explicit scripted content. One posted four years ago was described as being of a “young girl” being interviewed by a police officer about sexual abuse. Another posted in 2018 was titled: “Slutty schoolgirl detention.”

It is unclear if this content is linked in any way to the charges Burdett is facing.

“Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) has no place on the Reddit platform,” a spokesperson for Reddit said in an email. “We deploy both automated tools and human intelligence to proactively detect and prevent the dissemination of CSAM material. When we find such material, we purge it and permanently ban the user from accessing Reddit. We also take the steps required under law to report the relevant user(s) and preserve any necessary user data."

The website has a policy that does not permit any sexual or suggestive content about minors or someone who appears to be a minor, including “fantasy content.”

A link to the Reddit page has been replaced with a disclaimer that the community has been banned.

Burdett has a next court appearance in May.

I forgot how I hate reddit and its retarded leftie subs. Most of them are people living in some sort of bubble, who don't understand how other countries live.

Like, there is this r/fuckcars sub and it's so retarded. People simp over euro cities with walkways, bike lines and other such thing. Those morons mostly post touristic areas where it's reasonable to ban traffic. They will post some small German village that is clearly a tourist attraction and they whole schtick being pre- modern with cute houses and no cars. But then they completely ignore that in the cities it's not the case at all (unless you are in a historical area of Rome or some other shit).

I worked in some vilages all across Europe for some time, and can say that it's way more convenient to own a car. Without it you can't even go shopping on foot without frogging across autobahn lines.
