I can't find the clip of Pekora snapping at chat to stop being so gay, as YouTube leaps into action and floods me with pages and pages of pro-gay propaganda when I include the fragment search "stop being gay" which is something I was blissfully unaware of before now.
I dunno. I think it's fine if different chatboxes develop their own weird things. We don't want uniformity across audiences, not everything has to copy Hololive. I'm not sure I would enjoy a four hour stream of loud sweary rabbit fun with everyone goofing about pretending to have an orgy in chat, but there's plenty of people who'd love it. Personally I think the overly-stylised femboy crosses the line as to what VTubing is about, and heads off into fetish pornography territory, which isn't without its own fans of course. I could be completely wrong, he could be authentically gay and bring the same tragic-comedy connection to his audience that I get from the HoloENs. We'd need a gay chap to assess it properly, I reckon.

I don't normally talk about rigging because I don't know much about technique (same with my comments on singing), but Kobo has this tendency to "sink" and rise, and I'm not sure what she's doing to cause that. I like her hair movement though.

To be honest, I also am not a fan of the thought that just any eceleb could be fair game for collabs, but I have a couple of things to say about this scenario specifically. Firstly, I'm pretty sure if they did collab it's likely not to be with Mori, but instead it will be with DDK. Secondly, even if it was with Mori, I think Charlie is someone you could make an exception for. I don't really watch him, but recently he was involved in some big drama over Twitch streamers unapologetically stealing Youtuber's content and hardly reacting to it or transforming it at all. Obviously I don't need to explain how retarded this is, and Charlie was guilty of it as well. However, unlike the other big Twitchfags who doubled down on their retardation, Charlie showed that he was willing to admit his fault, and then pledged to actually change the way he goes about doing that kind of content. This was my first major exposure to him and it gave me an impression that he's not just some faggot with an ego like most ecelebs.
I think it's because they'd already close, but you're right that it won't go over well because people won't take anything like distance into consideration.
Honestly, it's not very cringe to me because the pronunciation is so bad I can't even understand what she's saying 70% of the time, and the other 30% sounds cute so it counteracts the weirdness of it.

Kobo seems like a nice girl, and a smart one at that since she knew how to play her audience well. After she sung Reflect, she immediately apologized for the less than optimal singing because of her throat condition. Also she said she actually wanted to sing Red Heart, but doesn't have the soundtrack yet
