He also pretends to hunt Russians at night with his tomahawk.

At night the silent assassin sneaks behind enemy lines to kill some Russians with his tomahawk and then tweets about it.
When will there be a book? a movie?
That has to be the biggest load of horseshit I've seen this week, and there's been a ton of horseshit. It's a lethal weapon but it's not a silent weapon as anyone who has ever taken a course in using a tomahawk can tell you. It's a defensive weapon, not an offensive one. It's not the go to weapon in overcoming your opponent.

Maybe he’s using it to clobber passed out Russians who got into the vodka

Only reason to have a tomahawk is for getting a padlock off and usually people who do that sort of thing get nice ones from somewhere like Toor instead of Amazon. Also for defensive weapon it’s better to have an offhand knife for a “get off me” suggestion so you can get enough space to get your pistol or rifle up and firing

only reason to have a tomahawk is larping tbh, and only reason to actually use it as a weapon is if you're in a desparate situation where you don't have access to anything else.
overall this stuff is worthless as a weapon on the battlefield, might as well grab a wood chopping hatchet from your back yard or a steel hammer from your toolbox, you'll get similar results from it as from this battle axe meme lol

Really even in that situation, your best option is just to have a handgun. Damn near nobody is carrying a pistol as their primary weapon on the battlefield, it's mainly just rifles. If you have space to use a knife on someone, you have the space to use a pistol.

if youre sneaking around trying to kill sleeping soldiers you probably dont want to use loud ass firearms.
still, i think in that situation a simple knife would be more practical than a big ass axe

I seem to recall the standard load out for WW1 trench raids was basically carry a big knife, a shitload of grenades and have a few guys with smgs and pistols for if shit really got hairy. Weird that that's become a relevant comparison a century later.

It's a great breaching tool, and if you're suddenly one-one it can come in handy, but its use as an offensive weapon is not recommended by anyone.

It's not a "big ass axe", it's lighter, smaller and easier to wield. It's for killing for when people need killing. It's not for sneaking up on someone.

Ukrainian Air Force finally kills the Ghost of Kyiv meme (hopefully for good)

TL;DR Major Serhiy Tarabalka was not the Ghost of Kyiv, he did not have 40 aerial kills, and also he died on March 13th.

Idk why mall ninjas LARP with tomahawks and katanas and shit, maybe they think it'll get bitches on their dicks or something. But most bitches I know prefer men who don't brag about murder.

I'd have more respect for them if they LARPed as pirates from the Golden Age of Sail instead, because at least they had better weapons.

Infiltration troops relied a lot on grenades, machine guns, bayonets and shit indeed. But they didn’t necessarily sneak up on enemies, and were often used in combination with artillery fire and such.

You mentioned silos. Now you're shifting the goalposts by stating every stretch of runway should be considered a nuclear asset because an American plane might land on it. Not to mention the fact that nuclear warheads are incredibly hard to stop, while peeling the layers off an intregrated defense system so that bombers can fly through would take more than a day of air combat. ICBMs have worldwide delivery, 30 min or less.
Change silos to weapons and my point stands. I don't know if that did not translate into English well. But than again, can you really be sure that current American government would not build literal nuclear silos in Ukraine, however stupid that may be? They sure would have the ability to do so. Does not seem like they are a smart bunch. Smart enough to not start nuclear war yet, though.
Short range missiles are probably the most dangerous in terms of preventive first strike. And from Ukraine they would be able to hit both Russian anti-air installations and military bases with strategic weapons. I don't know if US possesses any working hyper sonic missiles yet, but they are also of grave concern for both sides. Russia used it's own in Kiev just to show that it can penetrate NATO missile defense systems without fail if it comes down to it. Don't know about method of delivery of nuclear weapons from strategic bombers, but my assumption is that they would not just drop a dumb bomb, might be wrong about it.
A nuclear power should concern itself with enemy anti-missile capabilities. Starting a war over it is just admission of defeat.
Don't make it seem like it's the only reason i have mentioned.
Which only makes Russia look insane. Not only it retroactively justifies NATO's continued existence after 1991, it actually pushes other countries to consider that supporting a liberal reform of the Russian government is the only way forward.
Why did they not let Russia join then? Weren't Russia asking to be a member somewhere in the 90s and in 2000 after Putin was in power?(Let's discount a meme with Stalin trying to join NATO after it was just made.)
And do you truly think that liberals will take power in Russia if Putin falls?
I think you will be disappointed.
Not being able to join a military alliance means that Ukraine can serve as a punching bag every time they step on Russia's toes.
A military alliance means that Russia has to respect Ukraine's political choices. That's unironically a more neutral stance than a "neutrality" where Russia just invades and seizes territory when they don't get their way.
Then why NATO and Russia just guaranty the independence of Ukraine and call it a day? NATO would be able to jump to Ukraine defenses if Russia acting up and vice versa. Wouldn't it made Ukraine truly neutral and not "neutral" by being a part of military alliance as you propose?
I understand the Russian position. I don't agree with their methods, which have done nothing except creating self-fulfilling prophecies.
I am glad you understand.

You mean to tell me some dead slav pilot isn't ,actually, an octuple ace? My entire worldview has been shattered! SHATTERED, MAN!

"Well yes I see you have a bunch of Turkmen, but when I say multicultural I mean blacks, do you have any of those?"

It's not even that. They have a hard time realizing exactly how much diversity there is just among the native Europeans. Like they just apply a blanket description of white to the whole continent, not bothering to realize it's actually amazingly ethnically diverse.
In the south of Portugal, Spain and Italy you can clearly see people who are "white Europeans" but partially Arab due to the invasions. White countries being colonized by moors? I don't think that gets taught in public schools.
Maybe one of them culturally enriched Ralph.

Don't worry, they'll push that number up to 35-40 after they realize how many zoomers, millenial soft bois, and troons can't pass the physical :tomgirl:

If there is escalation and a draft, I'm stoked to see how many instances of TKing and NCO fragging goes on in the Sino-Russo-Burger+vassals battle royale
If they draft me after already giving 8 years to the uniform I will definitely be doing some Minecraft shit

Am still subject to recall myself, most unlikely due to age/health. However, could still do the last military job, as an associate dean of a language school at the Defense Language Institute. White-collar-type job, not physical.
