The only thing he's right about is that when you consume so much media you end up having multiple favorites and it gets hard to keep track of them all, but he acts like there can never be one true favorite that is fondly remembered because of critical thinking. I can laugh my ass off and cringe at how much I loved Donnie Darko when I was an edgy teen but I won't deny that I loved that movie and will have a good time if someone decides to throw it on for a movie night.
