Exactly, they've had 50 years to make a federal law protecting abortion rights but left it up to an extremely questionable SC decision instead because the SC doesn't have to worry about losing swing votes.

Welp. Seems like driving 12 hours to Albuquerque to have the worst period of your life isn't too far away. I'm pro-choice, but I saw this coming from a mile away. Will Biden even have a legacy, food up, rent up, student loans unforgiven, innefective infrastructure bill, being a democrat in office and roe being undone. guns being more unrestricted then ever when the supreme court passes federal shall issue in a few months. weed still being federally illegal. good lord.

You are absolutely correct, folks tend to ignore that fact and the 10th amendment has been getting fucked over for a good while. If we are honest, the civil war probably broke it ot the point of no repair, but we will see. This is a step in the right direction, gay marriage getting kicked back to the states is on the menu now as well probably.

Probably an unpopular opinion, but it's not impossible that someone leaked it to get a wayward "yes" vote (to overturn) back on board. Probably not, but that would add a nice wrinkle; dems are screaming about the leaker being a hero, be funny to see them flip flop and go after someone they called a hero 10 minutes ago.
