“My daughter doesn’t have a choice” You don’t have a daughter, Tomlinson. You don’t get to have your cake and eat (and eat and eat and eat) it too. Signing away your parental rights includes losing the ability to use her in your stupid political hot takes. The daughter you don’t have has the right to prevent a pregnancy, making an abortion unnecessary. She has the right to live in a state with lax abortion laws. Or does Patrick think overturning Roe means abortion is illegal? I wouldn’t put it past him.

I love that he doesn't get that voting did none of this, it was Dems appealing laws they didn't like up to the Supreme Court that did it. If Dems stopped complaining and let a red state work like a red state wanted to, he would still have his precious roe/wade ruling

At first, it was upsetting to me that he lacks any semblance of shame for his actions in signing over his daughter. It's unfathomable to me how you can give up your own flesh and blood, and then, to add insult to injury, bring them up for years for Twitter attention seeking and applause by trannys.
Then I realized that means I'm nothing like Patrick S. Tomlinson, and I felt better. It put a little spring in my step.

Maybe Obama should have pushed for Merrick Garland to get a confirmation hearing instead of handing over SCOTUS to the other side. Maybe he should have been slightly less of a pussy and actually pulled rank on the issue. There was entirely enough time to force the issue and use the nuclear option the Republicans immediately used once they got the chance. But no, he had to play all collegial and shit. Like a pussy.
Maybe Obama is the one to blame for that, because the one thing Trump was actually quite energetic and successful about was filling as many Article III positions as possible, even at the District Court levels, which is where you breed the next generation of Circuit Court judges, which is where you get your Supreme Court-qualified candidates.
In the vast majority of cases, unless a Senator from the state is exercising privilege and blocking the nomination, not a constitutional but a traditional method, the confirmation goes through because in general, Presidents rarely try to appoint someone unqualified. There are obvious exceptions, some of them even resulting in confirmation, like LBJ appointing Abe Fortas, a frankly corrupt Justice with unconscionable levels of conflict of interest, who in fact did end up resigning in disgrace.
