It sounds like it will be a 5-1-3 opinion. If Roberts had voted with the conservatives, he would insist on writing the opinion himself to make it ultracuck narrow. Instead, Alito is getting to flex, which means he is leading the conservative wing in killing it. Roberts will concur but just in support of the 15-week ban in Mississippi and not to flip Roe. Others have pointed out he may want Alito to tone down some of his rhetoric in the final draft, but Alito says nothing wrong. It's just a complete dismantling of the logic of Roe and explains at great length why it should never have happened.

You want to know how you prevent this situation from undermining the integrity of your operations, Johnny?

1.) Fully ignore the nuclear levels of coping/seething/dilating, and push ahead with the ruling as we know it totally stands. Do not waver in the face of outside pressure.
2.) Find the leaker(s) and ruin them. Bury them financially and personally via litigation. Professionally, make it not only impossible for them to work in any field that’s within a mile of the legal industry, but poison their image to the point where even CNN and MSNBC won’t want to touch them for a lucrative commentator gig. Be relentless and make a total example out of them to discourage this from ever happening again.
