Shoah porn was a big thing in the 60’s and 70’s. It was renamed ‘Stalag porn’ as the Holocaust hype train revved up and is now known as ‘Stalag fiction’. Wikipedia grudgingly has an article on it in which they minimize its popularity and impact.

Which is a shame because it’s something that apparently both Jews and Nazis can genuinely enjoy together.

Thread tax: I just spent far too much money on a bunch of new paints for my WW2 28mm Soviet army for the wargame ‘Bolt Action’. I also have British Airborne and 9th SS Panzer Div ‘Hohenstaufen’ for Operation Market Garden themed games.

It‘s weird how people judge you for owning/playing SS even in Bolt Action, but playing an army that basically raped and slaughtered civilians wholesale and embodied a regime with 20+ million deaths on its hands is awwww right.

Also I got a cheese grater for a non cheese issue. Heard you can use a cheese grater on cold butter to spread it on things, and hell yeah, Wraith the mage cook gonna try it.
Also-also got a nice supply of fortune cookies for later. I have a supply of General Tso's chicken and I'm not afraid to use it.

It might work for mixing cold butter or lard into biscuit dough too.

The UK version of Rule of Rose for the PS2. Not sealed but in very good condition, with the original manual. Managed to convince an acquaintance to part with it for £250 and my second copy of Enchanted Folk and the School of Wizardry (I had it many years ago, lost it in the attic, bought a new copy and then found the old one).

Also very recently got Silent Hill: Shattered Memories for the PS2, still sealed.

Spring form pan for cheese cake. Trial attempt came out pretty good. No cracks. Solid crust. Water bath was harrowing putting into the oven but I have a better plan now. I just forgot the sugar in the cake itself so it was like eating a block of cream cheese TT. Lessons learned.

Notebooks. And fountain pens. A really really nice one that has subtle sparkles on it for $5 from China. Chinese pens are dirt cheap but pretty high quality. Not a Montblanc or anything, but who cares if it writes smooth and looks cool?

It's even more awesome in person. So smooth to write with and the sheen is amazingly vivid. Only $17 for 50 ml, which will last for ages assuming I keep my pen clean.

There's so much autism in the pen community, you have no idea. Just so much. No lolcows though, just straight autism.
