So, Biden, or rather his handlers, pushed him to demand that congress would get rid of the filibuster and push through legislation about abortion.
Virtually immediately both Sinema and Manchin comes out and shoots the idea down and states they will refuse to do any such thing.
Not even going through the motions pretending that they will try to negotiate something with Biden. Just immediately shut it down.

It is almost like that come November, they know GOP will own both the house and senate and Team Biden will have zero power or influence anymore.

This is truly a sign that Team Biden no longer has any political capital. That any check that TeamBiden writes is not even worth the paper its written on.

Polls just closed in the Ohio primary. No results in so far. I'm using live results from this page: https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/ohio-2022-primary-election-results/story?id=84448230

edit: 3% in and the vance race is pretty tight.

Who the fuck is Matt Dolan? I live here and I haven't heard of the guy. Also, sadly, looks like DeWine won is primary. I'm not surprised, but I am disappointed.

Edit: To add to the fun, redistricting, because of the courts, isn't complete yet, so the actual congressional district results might be invalidated. Probably won't effect Vance.

Also Dolan looks like some mild Columbus republican with most of his support in the northern part of the state. I don't think he even bothered to campaign down here. He was also crying about Vance being critical over the witch hunt of Matt Gaetz. State RINO cuck confirmed.

Sorry, but this looks more like someone's trying to get would-be commies to reveal themselves on Twitter by pretending to post a legit ad. The feds use USAJobs for job listings, not posting random ads on fucking Craigslist. Doesn't seem like anyone's bit yet either, as there are no results for that hashtag on Twitter. Also, there's plenty of red flags if you think about it, like the line about "yes, we have your contact information," clearly poking fun at the feds knowing everything about you already.

I mean, the feds are comically inept sometimes, but I don't think they're at the point of trying to solicit interns on fucking Craigslist and Twitter.
exactly, it doesn't cost anything to post to craigslist.
He was nowhere near the front. He was, if I'm not mistaken, a Navy Judicial Officer.
you would think Joe Biden of all people could have looked into it. like you said his cancer would have been bizarre unless some fuckery happened to him.
This is the Berlin Wall, right?
close he was talking about the invention of botox.
An oil company in Kuwait may have overstepped their territorial drilling rights a bit.

That one fired off all sorts of shit.
need this story

It's over. Let the Establishment cope!

Likely at this point, he's 5% ahead of Mandel. Looks like DeWine will be facing Nan Whaley, major of Dayton. So I'm guessing it'll be DeWine for Governor. Again. I did my part, but DeWine is too familiar a name.
Joe Blystone spoiled Jim Renacci, but Jim wasn't that strong of a candidate (lost to Brown in '18 when Mandel stupidly dropped out). Totally would've beaten Whaley though.

That's Renacci's problem, he jumped in after Mandel dropped out with all the money, but he gets the blame for it. DeWine is hard as hell to beat though, he knows the Ohio state political machine too well. I hate him and he's a bit of a follower, but he's not dumb. Shame about Cranley though, he was about as non-retarded as a Cincy mayor gets and probably the better pick over Whaley. Those turnout numbers though, Republicans are right around twice what the Dems are. I mean, it's just a primary, but still, that's a lot of turn out.

I've been getting ads about "ZOMG we need to protect/save Roe v. Wade!!!11!!!" on various SM sites for around a week prior to this drop so I'm assuming it was coordinated.
TBF, in oral arguments, it seemed like the court was in favor of the bill. Nobody expected them to burn Roe v Wade entirely though.

Part of me thinks this is revenge for them flipping Alito the bird back during the election and all the shit they've done since. Give them an option and they'll slaughter your sacred cow that only exists because of bad legal reasoning. Alito's opinion taking aim at Obergefell is likely a shot across their fucking bow that if they don't knock their shit off, he will take all the Progressives badly reasoned toys away.
