And yet, they're so lost in their own quixotic delusions of being that hero in this life & death struggle, they always forget the most important part of being a traditional "hero" if they truly feel they're on the side of "good": humility.
For all the childish ideation of being the hero akin to a Marvel superhero, they forget that those same heroes they imagine themselves standing shoulder to shoulder with do not value or even wish for the violence the films and shows portray.
