Except they don't. The taxpayer does. The crime victims (and children of single mothers are among the most criminal) pay for it. Society does by being filled with more useless breathers. Why the fuck do you want these people reproducing, and I'm not even being racial here, the white fucking trash IP2 freaks are definitely in this equation, with that Attila fucker spawning yet another seized-by-the-state freak to go be a petty criminal from the combo of shit genes and foster homes in its future.

Many people should not reproduce, and the population of those who abort includes an alarmingly disproportionate number of these people.

If it wasn't for World War 2 and the Nazis, the eugenics movement would have survived probably a couple of more years or decades.

The fact that we still dont know who leaked it adds weight to the theory it came from a Justice. (Either personally or at their behest)

Alternatively naive boomer judge as a priest class logic where they dont track how the xerox machine is used because our clerks would never do that!

Sense Roberts is Roberts. Could easily see him blaming Breyer and/or his clerks and then going "its fine now! They are all gone!"

I just like to think their E-mail servers are compromised and since it's the government they were too incompliant to notice a lurkey turkey. It took 4 years to recognize Hillary's backdoor access to the white house servers

inb4 someone says this is 4D chess by someone to get the crazies out of their holes and starting shit for whatever reason
Pretty sure a bunch of people have already aired that concept.

I am pretty sure nobody who did this knew shit about version control and so it is entirely possible the single version of the draft that existed at the time it was leaked can be identified as specifically from one person. Once the forensic nerds get at it, that possibility increases.

It's obviously Alito language, but anyone on the majority might have had that, and it was from a later date than what I think was probably in March. The late arrival could signify that it was a clerk for a minority Justice, and Breyer certainly seems to be a likely suspect as far as his clerks go. I am not endorsing that Twitter assclown who more or less completely speculatively accused one of his clerks of doing this, but I do agree that is someone in the prime suspect pool.

I was speculating about who might have leaked this and whether it was a crime of moral turpitude. I still believe it is definitely disbarrable but possibly not under the "crime of moral turpitude" theory because it may not have even been a crime. My personal opinion is that might actually depend on the specific intent of whoever leaked it. If the intent, as it appears to have been, would be to alter the result of a judicial opinion by deliberately leaking confidential information, that is looking very akin to something like obstruction of justice.

It is a corrupt interference with the process. I now understand what military vets thought about Bradley Manning, because this kind of behavior by a law clerk is really about the closest you get to treason in the judiciary. Whoever did this is going to be hated and hounded out of the profession, if not just disbarred or refused entry to the bar. This is one of the absolute cardinal sins against the profession it is possible to commit, and I am personally enraged by it.

you can.
in the rape case for example, if there really is a massive increase of bogus "i was raped, give abortion!" claims, the simplest solution i see would be to only allow abortion after an actual rape has been reported with the police. if the investiagation ends up showing that it was a false rape claim, she will be persecuted for wrongful abortion and lying to the police.
The problem with this is an unmothing, unassailable pillar of the discussion is "you must never punish Women for getting an Abortion," even if they're blatantly breaking the law.

I think it is a fundamental issue of liberty whether you choose to allow your body to draw blood and flesh out of you and produce an entirely different human being, made out of your own flesh and blood. Nobody should be punished for choosing the most basic aspect of their bodily integrity. In fact, it is literally insane to do that, on the level of slavery.
Sooner or later violence is going to break out over this
And possibly it should. This is a moral disagreement on such a fundamental level that possibly it only can be resolved through violence.

This is where shit gets irritating and compromise is impossible: everything you said about bodily integrity and violation of it being "on the level of slavery" can apply to the entirely new human being as well. This is why the pro-life people get so up in arms: the developing human should have the same rights as the pregnant woman. I don't know if I 100% agree with that, but in many places, if you murder a pregnant woman, you are charged with killing two people. I guess all I ask for is consistent laws so we can try to have reasonable discussions before breaking out into a civil war over reproduction (which is declining in developed nations anyway).

The man is a jerk, but Bill Maher had a great comment that he was neither pro-life or pro-choice, but was "pro-death". Basically pro-euthanasia, pro-death penalty, and pro-abortion. I'm not sure I agree with this stance these days (the more radical environmentalist movements are becoming death worshipers), I like the idea of a logically consistent standpoint. But what am I dreaming? Logically consistent stances from the majority of people? :optimistic:

People Politicians and SlackActivists suddenly remembering what a "woman" is this week won't stop cracking me up for a good while, that's for sure.

Re: just put it to adoption bro
It's understandable people aren't too crazy about it since they would still feel ambivalent about just dumping their kid away. I do see it as mostly cope on their part; they probably figure that by aborting there 0% chance their decision will (at least non-metaphorically) haunt them in the future.
imo it's weird how much adopted kids are always seeking their biofamily but they do what they gotta do

INB4 all the "muh insurrection" screechers screech about the fences around the supreme court
All of those fences could be toppled over by a trigglypuff on a mobility scooter.

I think that happened in lord of the rings when orcs invaded

baby removal process
A username/post combo that would make a helluva punk band name/album title. Or death metal. 😁

In other news, I was thinking of how Antifa was goaded/controlled by Democrats and wondering when we'll see it come out that these seething pro-abortion soon to be riots are astroturfed to hell, and where the money is coming from.

They act like it's all spontaneous and grassroots, but they had those Handmaid Tale costumes really fast when supposedly the left was as shocked as everyone else about the leak and totally didn't know it was coming...
