My real question is this (even though I know THIS is not the right place to ask it!) - was this part of the EU any good, or can I just continue to treat it like the glorified fanfiction I know it is (while waiting for Episode VIII to come out and blow me away like VII did, because fuck the EU-fags!)?

KOTOR was a damn good game. I'm kind of glad that it isn't being forgotten. [/sperg]

I guess they're just retconning everything post-movies. I have no problem with that.

It' been said before - sometimes, this is what you gotta do to attract new consumers, if not fans (should they enjoy it enough). We can disagree all we want, but wait until you (by some miracle) find yourself in this career field at a position high enough to do this shit - and are forced to.

Goddamit, do I smell or something? (actually scratch that, I'm a fart so of course I do)

I remember reading some the expanded universe stuff and noticed the galaxy had been in a state of perpetual warefare and chaos for approximately 100 years . By the period of darth Krayt's death the galaxy should be a wasteland which has slid into a total dark age, also any attempts to rationalize the Sith are fucking stupid after ten thousands years of perpetual failure. the way the entire setting is perpetual shit storm obliterates any suspension of disbelief where better off without the expanded universe not in the least because the butthurt is very funny
