I didn't know V&U was a thing, but Penelope seemed ok. I question a new company popping up right now as it feels like a plateau phase with vtubers but at least they seem to be angling for a difference with having korean as their secondary language. Penelope got better with her karaoke and seems to be the young composed quiet one. I'm guessing if I understood the promo video the sisters debuting tomorrow will be yin/yang wacky and studious.




Tomboy Mommy Valkyrie is the one who might be the standout of this group. On top of just a great design that's the right amount of sexy someone realized "let's just copy Nina but not run 'Honey' into the ground." Her singing was nervous but if she accepts her deeper voice you could have Shuba silk.

edit: I wonder why Penelope privated it, didn't seem like any doxx stupidity, just scuff. Penelope and Liora are doing a post-debut collab in a few minutes:

Throwing my 2 cents into the Niji-Vshojo discussion.

The issue with Veibae and Nyanners isn't that they use crass toilet humor and raunchy jokes. A lot of Holomems including Gura, Chloe, Marine, etc use it too (Coco even has a famous clip of her referencing creampies and XVideos). The problem is... as far as I'm aware, that's all they bring to the table. Besides comedy (if you even find them funny) what other talents do they have?

Where as, Finana for example, isn't just funny but is a fantastic singer. Enna is also raunchy and she's insanely talented at singing. Plus if I'm not mistaken the feesh is a good voice actress

I adore the rabbit, but it's hardly her thread is all I mean lol, so I'm trying to cut my autism off since my posts the last couple of days have varied between gey and geeeey relating only to Rabbit commentary, some other stuff I don't remember and being a homo over a shark return. because pretty much everyone in Vshojo who actually streams (besides Melody and Mousey) are stereotypical Twitch thots playing the role of a VTuber (Froot less so than the others). It's why I don't watch them, I enjoy VTubers because they aren't Twitch thots. They're talented, humble, grateful, hard-working, struggled hard, etc. Why would I want to watch people who are the opposite of why I fell in love with this medium in the first place.

Thats the main issue with the group, they made most of the girls without any remarkable talent famous just by being close friends or by invitation, like Hime, she has nothing else to offer than coomer talk and being the big tiddy vtuber, just because she is the Queen of Degeneracy. Zen still uses TTS, and most of the "entretainment" comes from chat & bits interaction. Im sorry for Mel but she is only loved because she is a dork, and in a sphere where camgirls are all Stacy's she stood up just because of that.

On the side of the only ones that are skilled Silver at least is trying with the singing and being lovable to her fans. Froot can draw well i guess and Mouse needs no explanation.

To them to collab with the twitch thots like the G4TV one. At this rate, they are focusing on a different audience than the usual JP vtuber one, its the openly sexual one that came from early 2020 with Melody and it just grew in what we know today, because a considerable part of western weeb/otaku fanbase is composed of people that doesnt have any remorse of openly talk about their favorite hentai, fetishes or tags, and thats reflected as well on the most known western ani-tubers. Not my cup of tea anymore since holoEN started and showed me that you can be actually entretaining without relaying so much on degeneracy.

I have a lot of respect for her because of just how mad she made actual e-whores, and she was very entertaining initially, but after her gigantic popularity explosion, it felt like the rest of Vshojo just amalgamated out of thin air and attached to her success like a leech, and made her much worse by association. No offense to Ironmouse, her life is fucked and I wish her the best even if I don't enjoy her content.

While I'm sure you're right here mostly, is this entirely true? I fell off watching him the same reason I fell off watching SomeOrdinaryGamers, there seemed to be this weird need to commentate every single big drama going on youtube and twitch instead of all the content I used to love watching out of both. Do I really need 15 variations on what twitch streamers think about edp455? Maybe, maybe not. And yes, I'm aware of the irony of saying that while posting on this site.

That said, even though I can't stand his modern content, I'm glad Karen got to live another dream out and do something with him.

Yeah, vtubers are starting to feel like new mobages to me - it's increasingly hard to tell which ones are gonna last and are worth keeping up with, but these two seem really comfy and cute, I'll keep an eye on them. Thanks for bringing them up.

And that's one thing i don't get. I mean its obvious now he's a dude, but why didn't he just pull a sodafunk and hire some cutesy voiced bitch to be zen. According to that one video, it was 2 people playing zen him and his girlfriend so why not get someone else. He plays the games and she speaks.

I'd think members would be where the most unhinged people are, those who are willing to throw money at the person in question, i don't know why vtubers feel comfortable divulging shit to the most obsessed of fans.
In a different note, you guys know how sometimes this community is compared to bronies and furries and shit? Do you think that vtubing will go the way of those fandoms? Will the community just fracture into several scattered groups and be taken over by a bunch of freaks and degenerates who use live2d to play out all of their fucked up delusions and fetishes? I know we aren't exactly like those groups since both of those kinda started based on pure cancer and just continued being cancer except that it spread around and made the sanest members of those groups not want to be associated with it,

That makes me think that this community being led by corpos is what keeps it from being taken over by retards and spiraling into an absolute autistic clusterfuck, it has been my favourite rrat or heck call it a premonition for all i care, that the day that the indies dominate this industry, vtubing will peak and will never be the same.
